Arrival Story:
We were originally thinking of getting a Newfoundland as we like the large breeds...the only thing stopping us was the drool factor...lo and behold we researched the breed of the Cane Corso and find they rarely drool. Hah , look at those jowls, he is a master drooler . Needless to say all of our walls are painted with washable paint. Easy to clean and maintain!!!! Fredo was from a litter of 9 and he chose us. We spent 5 hours with the breeder and he picked us and hung out with us most of the time.

Fredo is just a love and I think incredibly handsome. He is quite smart and was the easiest to train. He is a talker and says several phrases. People can't believe me when I tell them but when they hear it for themselves they are amazed. Today, May 4, 2007 marks one year ago today that Alfredo made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge. This happened two days after his 8th Birthday. It is only today that I can update his page without crying. His presence is so missed , and what a presence. We miss him so ......

My Aunt Toby's Birfday Pawty !!!

My 2 legger Aunt was visiting from North Carolina and it happened to be her birfday so my Mommy said she would make a pawty so the whole family could get together....the problem is that sometimes I get a little nervous when there are alot of two leggers in my house, especially those I don't know. Mommy always tells me it's ok but when I get nervous I tell Mommy by a very high pitch annoying bark. Now mind you, I don't every do that when just my Daddy and my brother are home, I only do it when Mommy is in the house with a stranger cause I want to protect her!! Well the morning of the pawty Mommy and I had a long chat and Mommy asked me to be especially good cause there were going to be 18 2 leggers at this Pawty and you know what, I WAS THE BESTEST BOY!!!! Now mind you, this is a first for me cause everytime Mommy has a pawty she has taken me to this Spa/Hotel which is OK but I really love to be home and Mommy told me she prefers having me close to her.

I just hung out and watched everyone and hoped that they dropped some food on the floor for me to catch. That's another problem I have..... I love to DROOL!!! Yikes, the 2 leggers get grossed out when I have a good loogie going but Mommy also took care of that and she attached a drool bib on me so she could just wipe my face when that happened. I hate when Mommy cleans my face with paper towel but if I have my own terry cloth towel that's better cause it's nice and soft. I have to admit, I caught of glimpse of myself in the mirror and I do look kind of silly with the bib attached to my collar. But all in all I had a really good time and my little brudder Owen was also very good and everyone loved us and praised us .
