Arrival Story:
Lilly is a new addition to our home. I recently started working at a vet clinic and she came in from a rescue to be put up for adoption. She must have been on the streets for a while because you could see every bone in her body. Weighing in at 5.3 lbs. She was really underweight. Well I spent a week taking care of her at work, I literally could not put her down. I carried her around the clinic and mentioned to a coworker one night before we closed that I wanted to foster her. The next morning my boss said hey jess, go talk to christie about something for me...I thought I was in trouble! She didnt say what about or anything! I went to christie and she handed me the adoption papers!! Lol, I was pretty shocked. My boss came in and jokingly said, ya know most people have to go through a trail period and we have to go see their house and stuff. BUT since you've been bringing Sweet Pea here for almost 8 years I feel like we know ya pretty well and we love how you take care of your animals. Take her home and pay the fee when you get paid next week. I was sooo happy. She's been an amazing addition to our home, she fit right in, its like she's been here all along.
