Arrival Story: After we lost Rottie, this house seemed empty beyond words, even with 4 humans living in it. We decided to adopt a rescue dog and give a homeless dog a forever home. Thanks to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in West Palm Beach, Florida, we found this lovely young lady. We picked her up on election day. She had to be given up because her owners' home was foreclosed and they couldn't find a place to rent that accepted animals. So they brought her to the Rescue League. She was only there less than one month and we found her!
Bio: I am a dog named Kitty! Imagine that! To get me to come to you, all you have to do is say "Here Kitty" and I will come to you. I learned that in only one day because I am a Rottweiler and I am smart!
My Dad wanted to name me Kitty because he wants to say "Here Kitty" and have a big dog come around the corner. You should see the looks on people's faces when THAT happens!!
Forums Motto: Say "Here Kitty" but don't expect a CAT!

Now that I give Mommy big hugs, sometimes I stand up on the side of her office chair and just stay there. She keeps typing and says I'm reading my own email over her shoulder. She is one funny lady, I can't read! But I enjoy having my head next to hers and she can just lean over and kiss my face. That's the good life and I'm livin' it!
I have learned another trick. Actually, I invented it, Daddy just named it! I have my humans so well trained, lemme tell ya'.
Anyway, I put my paws on the seat in front of Daddy, who is sitting down. I then get my paws on his shoulders and lick his face. I do it to Mommy, too, but she kisses my face so I don't get to lick her! She prefers it that way.
I can't do this with the ladies, they are way too old! But they bend down to kiss my face.
Bow WOW! I haven’t been online in so long it’s not even funny. First, as mosta my pup pals already know, my Dad had back surgery earlier this year. He’s doing great and he’s been playing with me and Judd and loving every minute of it. No more back pain – YAY DADDY!
Then Mom had to plan for her trip. Mom has this very best friend (Mom and Leslie have been friends for 47 years, since mom was only 13) who lives in California. When they met Mom lived in Chicago. They were pen pals for 7 years before they even MET (Mom lived in Chicago when they started being pen pals), but had so much in common that they stayed friends all these years. It’s a long story (what 47 year friendship ISN’T?) but Leslie’s new roommate said that they hadn’t seen each other in so long (it had been 33 years since they last were in the same room, if you can believe THAT?) so Leslie’s roommate (her name is Stacey) sent my Mom a ticket to go from Florida all the way to California! They camped at the ocean, Mom took some awesome pictures and me and Judd missed her something FIERCE! We were so happy when she came home! Judd was bouncing up and down when she saw Mommy come in the gate! She said she had fun, but she was happy to be back ‘cuz she missed our snuggles and she missed Daddy, too.
