Mom's been worried about me. I started getting the trots last weekend really bad - just like turning on a water faucet. And Mom could tell I was not feeling well. Mom dropped me at the vet Monday morning before she went to work. I stayed all day and had tests. I have something called Giardia, not sure if I spelled that right. It's an intestinal parasite. Ick, ick, ick. What is a sweet girl like me doing hasve something nasty like that. They gave me meds and sent some home for Quigley too because it is catchy. I wasn't doing too well, Mom and the doctor were worried. Mom dropped me off at the vets for the day on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. My poor little butt is so sore and my upper lip on my face is a weird kind of chapped red. I think I finally turned the corner Wednesday night, and I was able to stay home all day. Mom and the doctor were very happy. I'm still getting hiccups in my lower region and sometimes my legs are a little shaky, and I get the chills, but Mom's home for the weekend so I'm okay. The little monster (Quigley) is giving me a wide berth. Mom must have had a long talk with him. Because I was leaky a lot, Mom has been washing blankets all week. Quigley and I love it when the blankies are first out of the dryer, all warm and cosy.

I'm going back in Monday night for a recheck. The doctor said Mom could get it too. I hope not. Who would take care of us then.

Uh oh, gotta go I think Mom needs to give me a back rub.

Oh sweety, I hope you feel better soon. I had it was a puppy and it was a long road to full recovery. I took antibotics for about 6 or 7 months and then got yummy meds added to my food to help me. Once I was able to not potty in my crate, meaning I didn't east my poopies any more my recovery sped up.

Tell your momma to take car and not watch tv on a stool late at night anymore!
