Best Tricks: stealing a place in everyone's heart! Arrival Story: My girlfriend has an uncle who has a girlfriend who has a son, lol, the son bought Jack (Jack had a different name but we changed it ASAP) as a puppy. Once Jack was no longer a puppy and was getting very big the son decided he no longer wanted Jack. Jack was too big and to active and the son did not want to put time and effort into training Jack. My girlfriend uncle called and said he had this dog (a pure bred black lab) his girlfriends son did not want it and they were going to take it to the pound. I asked what breed, color and the age of the dog. Well, needless to say he was 11 months old, a lab and black. I love the Raiders so he fit the bill! lol Bio: When we went to pick Jack up I went into the backyard and there was no evidence that there was a dog living there!! No food or water bowl, no toys, NOTHING. When it came time to put him in the car he fought tooth and nail. He never had anyone play with him, take him swimming or taught him any "manners". It took a long time but he has turned into a wonderful part of our family. He loves our kids, cats, swimming (He was affraid of water and I had to throw him in the river to get him in! He's a big dog and that wasnt easy!), going for rides, and being a part of family life!! His personality is so much like Jack from Pirates of the Carribean.
