Rainy days and turkies to chase

I was so excited when I found out we were going to my grandparents' house yesterday. I even jumped into the car while my family packed up their stuff (which I don't understand why they need. I mean you don't see me taking a suitcase to their house!) and wouldn't come out. It seemed like I was in their for hours but I guess I really wasn't, it was more like 15-30 minutes.

Today was pretty disappointing. It rained ALL day so Tippy and I couldn't go outside to play. To make things worse, their was a buck and a flock of turkies outside today that I found and we were only aloud to chase the turkies (they flew over the top of the house!!!!). Then my grandpa had to dry us off so we could come back into the warm house.

It's to bad Tippy and I didn't catch those fat birds, my family could've eaten them and given me and Tip the leftovers!

FIREWORKS?!?!

I was so scared last night!!!!! At midnight something sounded like it was blowing up! It was scary. I was running every where trying to find a safe hiding spot, but I couldn't find one anywhere. Mom let me lay on the couch and that comforted me a lot knowing that she was there to protect me from whatever was happening outside. Then my sister tried giving me a doggie cookie but I wouldn't eat it. I was to nervous to even think about food. Thank goodness it's all over now. I thought it would never end. I don't know why Tiger wasn't scared though. He is usually just as scared as I am, but last night he was really wild. He was running around everywhere trying to get mom and my sister to play with him. And then he tried to attack my tail! I really didn't like that so I growled at him. But I'm glad that nights over.

Today I was watching the Rose Parade on TV with my mom and sister while my brother slept. I wonder what we're going to do today. Maybe I'll get to go on a walk. It's actually sunny outside for once, instead of being all rainy and cold. Or maybe I'll get to go for a car ride while my sister drives around. oh the possibilities:)

the day after christmas

Yesterday was so much fun! My human uncle and Jenny spent the night, which hardly ever happens. When I woke up there were a bunch of boxes under the tree. Once everyone was awake my human brother and sister passed out all the boxes. Tippy got a new ball for Christmas from SantaPaws and me and Jennny got a bone, but mom says that I'll get my other present once we get home. :) The room was so messy after everyone opened presents. Tippy was being nosy though, he was going through all the paper. I think he thought he was going to find more balls in them or something.

We played all day. I even let Jenny play with us for a little while. The best part of Christmas had to have been the FOOD!!!!! We got so much food!!! Oh it was a dream come true! We got a lot of leftovers from the Christmas dinner. Then after it got dark outside my family let me and Tippy go on a car ride with them. They wanted to see a bunch of houses that were all lit up. I even saw 4 DEER!! Tippy was being unusual in the car though. He was either sitting in my mom or grandma's lap the whole entire trip. I thought he would have been really excited about going in the car with me but apparently he wasn't. I didn't let that ruin my night though. I still got to stick my head out the window and bark at everything. :)

Today my mom and grandma are out shopping and it's pretty quiet in the house. Tippy and I have been sleeping most of the day. We've gone on a few runs and got to go on a walk this morning.

Tippy house!!! :D

Yay!!!!! I'm finally at Tippy's house. The only thing I'm bumbed about is that Jenny is here. I don't like it when she gets all the attention. Everyone thinks she's really sweet and cuddly like a teddy bear or something. On our drive up here I saw two deer!!! But for some reason they ran away when we got close. It couldn't be because I was barking so loudly could it?? oh well. It sure did make the trip a lot more exciting. :)

The vets

Today was a weird day. My sister got home from school at noon and then at 4pm my mom and sister took my cat in the car with us, which they never do because he hates the car. And when the car stopped they took the cat out and into a building. I think it was the vets. office because there were a lot of other animals going in there too. I had fun barking at all the dogs that went inside the building. I'm glad I didn't have to go in there. Last time I went in there they put a needle in me. I think they called think they called them "shoots" or something. They really hurt. I hope I never have to get a shoot again. The cat seemed fine when they got back into the car... a little shaken up...but overall ok.

It's Raining, Its pouring.....

It's raining outside today....AGAIN!! I don't like it when water falls out of the sky. I never liked water in the first place, especially when my mom or sister try to give me baths. But anyways I avoid going outside when it rains if at all possible. I mean who wants to get their paws and fur wet? And when it rains that means no walks for me. So hopefully the rain will go away soon so I can go on walks again.

Leaving Tippy

I had to leave Tippy and my human grandparents house last night. I'm so sad that I've been laying in bed most of the day. I think Tippy was even more sad than I was because he was laying on the couch when we left yesterday and he wasn't playing. He didn't even come and say goodbye to us when we left.

My human sister has been trying to get me to play but I don't feel like it. All I can think about is all the good times we had over the weekend. We got to go for walks, chases other animals, and play for hours. Who would want to leave that?? I sure wouldn't. I don't even feel like chasing Tiger around the house. I just want to lay on my bed and sleep.

To Grandmother's House We Go...

I FINALLY got to go for a car ride!! I was so happy that I stuck my head out the window. You gotta love the feeling of the wind in your face (especially when it makes your ears stick straight up). I knew before I even got in the car that I was going to go see my cousin Tippy and my grandparents today. My human sister kept telling me we were going to our grandparents house. That got me so excited that I was jumping up and down and yelling:)!!

My family and I were in the car for 2 and a half hours! It was a long trip, but at a stop light in Sacramento we saw another dog and I got to talk to him. I wasn't really sure if he was a dog because he was so small, but then he started to talk to me too. But for some reason when that big light thingy changed colors we had to leave and I never saw him again.

Tippy was so happy to see me! We played for hours and even tried to get our humans to go on a walk with us but it was to dark and cold outside for them. I can't wait until tomorrow morning when we get to go for walks and chase all the squirrels, rabbits, and deer through the mountains!
