Arrival Story: Bella came from a loving family home. She was living with the daughter who is attending LSU in Baton Rouge. The daughter was living an an apartment, but moved into a sorority house so she brought Bella back to Lafayette to her mom's house. With the mom's travels and the son's acceptance at Oxford, Bella was spending lots of time at the Happy Dog Hotel in its Luxury Suite with Scooter. The mom wanted Bella and Scooter to be adopted as a pair.
Bio: Bella is a small little mini weighing only 8.5 pounds. She is little Miss Dynamite! When her and Scooter play she is the one who growls and yaps. She will curl up in my lap and go to sleep. After being here a week she still will not go in and out the doggie door despite my efforts to teach her. We will come inside, leave her out and watch her through the door. She looks through the door, but yaps then barks louder to be let in. We lift the flap a bit and she'll run through.

Me and Scooter got to go with mom this year to the annual Bark in the Park which helps educate the hoomans about animal overpopulation. It also has lots of goodies to eat, games, contests, photos, raffles, etc. It was a fun day, but let me tell you that I am one spoiled little girl (as if ya'll didn't know that already). Mom carried me around most of the day!!! Aaaroooo.....Scooter had to walk the whole time, but not me; I'm a spoiled princess! I wore a little doggie dress and got lots of attention!!
For anyfur interested in seeing the picfurs of the day go check out my mom's photo album.
I've been in my new furever home for a whole year now. Thank you to those who sent me pressies thinking it was my barkday. This is just as special as a barkday, but we're missing Sheba & Spike to celebrate one year cuz last year both of them was here too. Mom says life's not fair and I have to agree cuz both shoulda been here to celebrate our one year anniversary with them. We know they're celebrating at the bridge for the reunion with Spike joining them Monday and they are all sending good wishes down to us for a long, long life down here with mom. I really miss Spike cuz he & I would play a lot.
Not only am I having fun barking back at my furiends in Schnauzers Rule this week, I'm having fun playing outside while mom waters flowers and plants. Today I had a show down with one of those lizard thingys that mom calls a chameleon. Mom saw me trying to crawl under the lawn tractor so she ran over with the camera in hand. She had the camera out there to take some before and after pictures of work one of my human brother's friends was doing on her car. She quickly put the camera on the ground and snapped a picture of me, but little did she know she would catch that thing with it's mouth wide open. I've posted a picture for all to see! I'm quite an adventurous little girl. The lizard ran out the other end and Spike grabbed it, but mom told him to leave it alone cuz she says it helps catch the creepy crawly bugs such as spiders and mosquitoes. Spike dropped it, but was going to grab it again when my human brother's friend grabbed it and put it in the rose bushes. Oh, well....so much for our fun adventure with the lizard!
