My new brother (or sister)

Mommy brought home a cage with a light. I didn't think anything of it until I saw something moving in there. Mommy calls it a bearded dragon. She said he is too little to know if he's a boy or she's a girl. Mom calls it Fred but it might end up being Fredreika. I like to watch it move in its cage. I get to chase the crickets that manage to escape. Well until mom notices and picks them up. He is very boring when he's not running around. I don't really pay him any attention. When he runs I sit up on my back legs and just watch. Mom caught me licking the cage the other day haha.

Going home!

Mommy told me she found out her graduation date (in Dec). That means we will get to go home in early 2010. I am excited. I am tired of Mommy always studying instead of showering me with love. She does still spoil me , but there are nights that I just have to sit beside her while she studies and writes her papers. I can't wait to be in Louisiana closer to Nana. She is the only person who can spoil me more than Mom. I gain at least a pound everytime I visit. I have never eaten so many treats in my life. Thanks for reading my diary.

I try to be good but....

Mommy was not very happy with me today. I drug the trash from one end of the house to the other. I even thought that the stairs looked like they needed a little "sprucing up". And when mommy got home i was sitting there with a smile and a wagging tail. She didn't seem to like my decorating job. She told me I was bad. Then she grumbled the whole time she picked up my decorations. I felt so bad I went to sit in the corner. Then I put on the saddest face I could manage. Mommy took one look at me and felt so bad. She loved on me, told me she was sorry, and even gave me a treat!!! SUCKER lol! I love my mommy but, sometimes she is too soft with me. Well it was an interesting day. I had fun and even got extra kisses and treats.

The new neighbors.

We live in an appartment complex. Our door is about a foot away from our neighbor's. They have a very pretty dog named Mai Tai. I am fixed but I can still flirt! So I heard our neighbors open the door right before mommy. When she opened our door I darted out of our appartment and into the next with Mai Tai and gave her mommy quite a fright. Mommy told her she was really sorry, but Mai Tai's mommy wasn't mad. She gave me a treat and a kiss.

I had fun but Mommy told me that was not very polite. So next time I will just have to wait for mommy to knock or for an invite! I like the new neighbors!
