We adopted Daisy from a breeder in Central Illinois as a tiny puppy of 7 weeks. Now she is an elderly 14 years old. She is a sweet girl, still has a little bit of playfulness in her. The sad truth is that she wont be with us too much longer. She has a spinal disorder that will render her back legs useless. For now she is unsteady and stumbles some, and sometimes she will drag her back feet. It is so sad to watch our beloved Daisy get old, knowing that she may not live to see her next birthday.
On May 9, 2009 Daisy Mae left this world and is now reunited with her brother, Smokie. This was a very sad day for the whole family. Maggie and Trixie spent the next couple of days depressed, as did her mom and dad.
When in doubt, laze about!
