About My Family

I have a mommy and daddy. Mommy is American and my daddy is French. I don't know many Frenches, just him and a bulldog at daycare. I call my daddy "C'est Papa" because this is what Mommy says when he comes home. Whenever Mommy says "C'est Papa! C'est Papa!", I know something great is gonna happen. C'est Papa always lets me do things mommy won't, like jump on the couch, eat people food and go into Mommy's closet to find a new toy. C'est Papa has a human daughter named Matilde who lives in Denmark with her mom. She is a French and a Dane. I seen a Dane before and they are super big! I wonder if Matilde is that big? She is coming to visit us at Christmas just to see me. I feel so special!

The Day Mommy Got Mad

I never seen mommy get mad like she did today. We went to a place to play with puppies. When we walked in, a puppy jumped me without even sniffing first. I got scared and Mommy scooped me up. The other dog's mommy told her to put me down because I need to learn how to play. Hey, I already know how to play! Then Mommy said "No way" and told her I don't play like that. And she's right! I like to sniff "Hello" first. That's the polite thing to do. The other lady was really bossy and kept telling mommy to put me down. Then mommy got really mad and told her off using words I don't understand. Later, when I was ready, I played with her dog. And just to show him who's boss, I let him have it. Then his mommy got scared and took him away. Maybe next time she won't be so bossy.

Puppy School

Every Saturday morning I go to school with my mom or dad or sometimes both. Today it was just mom and me since daddy had to go to work. School is really hard because I never get to play with the other dogs like I do at day care. And I have to stay on the leash. This morning mommy just couldn't get it right. She kept messing up and confusing me. She used the wrong words and signals and forgot to treat me sometimes. Finally I gave up and tried to go play with Sassy. But Sassy's parents wouldn't let her play. So I barked at Bindy and Biscuit. But their moms wouldn't let them play either. So I sat down for the rest of the class and stopped listening to mom. I don't like school.
