Arrival Story:
Kolby, was the best dog I had ever had. She was my very first flyball dog. I ran her in my first flyball tournament when I was 7 years old. She came to us from the owners of Torbrook Kennels, Bob and Sylvia Banks. She had been to two previous homes before she came to us. We were her third and last home. My mom and auntie took almost a year to train her for flyball. She was the best dog I could have ever asked for. Kolby was born with a back-end issue, causing her to leak urine, making it very painful to walk and stand as she got older. Kolby was taken out of flyball, from having 2 seizures, one being at a flyball practice and the other being at a flyball tournament. Kolby's fastest time when she was in flyball was 4.618 seconds. She had earned the following flyball titles on the following dates: FD (04/21/00), FDX (04/21/00), FDCh (04/21/00), FDCh-S (04/29/00), FDCh-G (06/04/00), FM (10/14/00).

Kolby was like a best friend to me. If I came home crying after a bad day at school, I would open the gate and sit down, and she would come to me and put her head over my soulders like she was giving me a hug. She was the only one I could ever talk to about any of my problems. We put Kolby to sleep on September 12/2006. She layed on the ground and I sat beside her. She layed her head in my arms, and died in my arms. I still cry about her to this very day, all though it has already been 2 years since she was put to sleep. It was very hard to say goodbye to her. Before we put her down, I said my last goodbye's to her in the field just behind the vet clinic. She stood with her ears perked up, and had the look of youth in her face. I will never forget the moments we had shared together no matter what. She will always remain in my heart as my #1 girl. Goodbye, my sweet sweet girl.
