Yes, I have been gone a while but it was all my mom's fault. First we moved to a new house, it's much bigger than our old one and it has the best two things ever -- DOGGY DOORS AND A FENCED YARD!! I love our new place, but I still have some problems with the wood floors. When we first moved in I had alot of problems with the floors, but now sometimes I get ssssoooo excited that my feet move but I don't or, worse yet, sliding into people, doors, and walls because I can't stop. But it's okay though, everyone gets a good laugh and I get extra attention. What more could you ask for? I also have to get used to sharing cause my Aunt Zoie (Shepard/Akita) and Aunt Netmeg (Brittany) live with us too. My grandparents weren't able to take care of them anymore and so now they live with us. Aunt Zoie and I have a lot of fun and get along great. Aunt Netmug is another story. She's 9 years old and she doesn't want to play with me. Lucky for me, the yard already had a divider up I have my area and she has hers. Aunt Zoie is really attached to Aunt Netmug, they been together all of Aunt Zoie's life (6 years). So when my mom and dad aren't home, I have the house and my part of the yard and they have their part of the yard but when Mom and Dad are home everyone gets to be together. Mom is hoping that Aunt Netmug and I will start getting along so everyone can always be together, but we'll see. But after we got moved in Mom went to hook up the computer and found out that it broke during the move somehow. With everything else going on, she didn't get me a new computer until now. But I'll forgive her for taking so long. But I'm still mad at her about the cats! Can you believe that she told my human brother, Dustin, that we would take care of his cats while he's in South Korea in the Army! Mom keeps the cats, Oreo and Bandit, upstairs but sometimes they escape and come downstairs. I can't believe she expects to live in house with cats! I think she's going crazy in her old age or something. Well, despite having to share MY house with CATS, it's all good since I do have doggy doors and a fenced in yard. (Just I side note, when we first moved in I broke two doggy doors just by begin so excited and running in and out, in and out.) Mom says she'll be everyone to Dogster soon. (sigh....and Catster.....I can't believe she's including those darn cats!)

We got a postcard yesterday from my human brother, Dustin! It was so good to hear from him! He's in basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC and he's been gone since mid-January. He used to call but he said that he doesn't get much time to do that anymore so he's writing to everyone now. I'm sad to say that he recently hurt is knee on a hike and was on crutches for a while. He said that his knee keeps hurting him some and that it keeps swelling. The doctor told him that he may need surgery on it in the future. He said that he's been told that he'll be allowed to stay at basic if he can keep up. He's trying real hard and he doesn't want to have leave or have his graduation postponed. Mom, Dad and I wrote him a long letter back and Mom even gave him some tips on helping with the pain and swelling. I sure hope he gets to feeling better soon. I miss him though, so does everyone. Whenever Dustin came over we had fun wrestling, running around, and playing tug. The only thing I found really strange about him, is that he has two (2) cats. I don't know what he sees in those things. Cats aren't nearly as great as dogs. (sigh) I guess I'll never know what he likes about them.

Thursday Mornings

I'm so excited!! My little cousins, Jacob (3) and Randall (2) come over to my house to play on Thursday mornings!! My aunt, (Mom's sister), is a school teacher and has a teacher's meeting every Thursday morning at school. Well, my uncle doesn't get off work until about an hour after her meeting begins. Soooo, that means I get to help my mom watch my little cousins!!!! They are so much fun!!! We like to play ball and chase each other all over the house. They think I'm funny and I love to make them laugh. THEY EVEN LIKE GIVING ME TREATS!!! What could be better than that?! But I have to confess by the time they leave, I'm exhausted. Right after they leave Mom has to head to work too, which means I get the whole bed to myself to streath out and SLEEP. I can't think even a better way to start a day then playing with the boys, making the boy's laugh, getting treats, and then a long nap.
