Okay, not this is just getting a little redonkuless! This weather has been so crazy lately. I don't ever remember having this many days where it was so hot that not even getting in the pool helped cool you off. Boy am I glad we have AC! Of course, we went about a day without it and the house got to 86 degrees and let me tell you, with my long coat, it felt a lot hotter than that! Thank goodness they fixed it yesterday:)

So, what have I been up to... we stayed home this past weekend, but mom let us go swimming everyday. I love to swimmy!! Mom even swam with us Saturday evening. I like when mom swims with us cause she makes sure Echo isn't a bully in the pool. When we swim with dad, Echo beats up on me pretty bad cause Echo doesn't listen to dad as good as she does to mom. I know, it's usually the other way around, but we know who rules the roost around here... BOL:D Still not allowed at the barn, but I think mom is going to take us tonight because we'll be with her when she stops. She said she saw other people have their dogs so she's going to ask. The only problem is, she said she's pretty sure if we are allowed, we'll have to stay on a leash... YUCK!! But I guess it's better than not being able to go at all. I'll know more after tonight.

I have a busy night tonight. Mom, Grandma, Echo and I are going to the vet. Echo has been itching a lot and mom can't find a reason. Although, she's pretty sure it's probably from swimming so much. But she wants to see the vet just to be sure. Then we're all going to do a visit at Manor Care. I'm excited because I haven't been there for a while. I'm not thrilled about having to share my visit with Echo, but I guess I'll survive. Then our last stop will be at the barn. If we are allowed there, mom will take us out on our leashes. If not, then she'll put all the windows down and sunroof open while she's there. I know she won't stay long if we can't get out of the car cause she doesn't like leaving us in the car when she's at the barn.

I think with the hot week ahead, we'll mostly be hanging out inside and swimming. I don't know what we have going on this weekend, but I hope it is cooler whatever we do. I know Danny would like another visit, but with the heat like it is, that won't happen anytime soon. Too bad cause I love my visits with Danny and the nice thing is, I never have to share them with Echo!
