Christmas visit to Manor Care

Last night, mom, dad and I went to visit all my friends at Manor Care. It took me a few minutes to get use to dad being with us cause he never comes, but last night we had all the Christmas gifts for my friends so he came along to help. Boy did we visit a lot of people last night! We had a lot more on our list and of course since I hadn't been there for a while, everyone wanted a little extra time with me... and to open their presents:) Everyone seemed to really enjoy their little gift. We gave one of my friends a Philly Phanatic and she loved it! She was hugging it and everything and it made me proud to know that I helped me her that happy:D We were there for a long time and the lady who started out by not talking to me even smiled and thanked me for her present. That made me feel good too. Everyone also seemed happy to have dad along. One lady said at first she thought dad was her son cause they looked alike... BOL:D But there is one sad note from last night, one of my friends that I usually visit is in grave condition. We didn't even go to see him cause the nurses said we should just remember him for how he was, and he wouldn't know we were there anyway. That made me and mom sad and we'll say a prayer for him that he goes peacefully in his sleep and looks down on everyone with love this holiday. We'll miss him:'(

This will probably be my last post until we get back from the mountains. I hope everyone has a great holiday and bark at you later!
