What an exhausting day!

Mom took me to the groomers again, YUCK!! Actually it was fun. LOL She takes me to a place where they teach people how to groom dogs and cats so I get alot of attention there. They all fight over who gets to bathe me and dry me and then brush me out. I looked so good, the teacher even commented on it. Then Mom picked me up and we went to the nursing home. There were so many people there that wanted to pet me that we stayed an extra long time. Mom had to talk to the activities director so I decided that would be a good time for a nap. When we got back home Mom let me sleep on her bed!!!! That was the best.

April went to her first dog show

Dad's been hogging the puter so I haven't been able to post in a long time. Mom and I are still going to the nursing home and we're going back to the library too. Mom took April to a dog show yesterday. She got to sleep in the house Saturday night. What a lucky girl. Mom told Dad that April got first place and winners and she's only 6 months old. The judge said that she's definitely going to win a lot of shows. She almost even beat out a champion yesterday. WTG April!!!

Laurie had puppies!!!!

Laurie had 10 puppies on April Fool's Day. No joke! Mom said they are so cute but she won't let me see them yet. I can hear them, tho. They sure are noisy.

Well, this time, it has been like furever

We've had such a busy month. Dad had surgery and Laurie was in Cleveland getting pregnant! Mom did an ultrasound on her and she has at least 6 puppies! Mom and I went on a trip the other day. We went to a dog show in Louisville. She put my vest on me and we walked furever. There were so many people there that wanted to pet me and take my picture. Then she said we had to watch the other pyrs in the showring. I took that time to get a quick nap and we were off again shopping. Finally she let me go back to the van and sleep while she finished up. I got to sleep most of the way home, that was until we stopped at McD's. YUMMY I heard her tell Dad that I get to go to visit Sharon, the groomer, tomorrow. We're supposed to meet some lady at the nursing home. Hope all goes well. TTYL, LeRoi

Its been a long time......

Its been like forever since Mom let me get on the puter. We have gone to the nursing home lots and now we're going back to the library too! The last time we were at the nursing home there were lots of people there in PT just to pet me. HEHEHE It was fun. The kids put me to sleep at the library - it is so calming when they read to me. And now Mom wants to add another place. Its called Hospice. Not sure when we're going to start there. I will even get my own badge! Poor Laurie, Mom took her to Cleveland last week and she hasn't been back since. Mom said that she was going to meet a dog named Kenny and then she might have puppies!! I can't wait for that.

Nursing Home Again!

Mom and I went to the nursing home again. Before we went she had to give me another bath, ugh, but I guess I'm getting used to them and the new hair dryer she got me. It is sure noisy but I get drier a lot faster. We stopped off at the feed store first so I could get some pets and then it was off to the nursing home. There were lots of people there to pet me and I found Rose. She was ok this time. She said she'd try not to cry anymore since it upset me so. After we went to the home we stopped at Wendy's and I got a yummy cheeseburger. The workers all thought that I looked so cute they had to stop their work and take pictures of me. Mom then had to go to the post office. There were all sorts of kids there so I got some more pets!! All in all a very good day!

A new place to visit

Mom got me ready for our visit to the nursing home. She had to try out her new hair dryer. It works a lot better than the other one did but boy is it noisy. We left early so Mom could go to the feed store. She said that I could go too. It was sooo much fun. There were lots of people there to pet me. There was a tiny dog but she didn't want to play with me. We went to the nursing home next. There were lots of people there that wanted to pet me too! It was great. I even got some popcorn. That was yummy. We didn't get to go to the library, tho. BUMMER. But maybe next time.....

another Wednesday

Mom got the car ready again and I knew that this time it was for ME!!She brushed me and got me smelling pretty and off we went to the nursing home. We walked and walked. Finally we stopped in this one room where Bev (she's blind) was so she could pet me. She loves my visits. But then, the lady in the next bed started to beep. I couldn't understand what was happening to her. Some other people rushed in and her beeping stopped. She was OK and that was good.
Then Mom and I went to the library. There were lots of people there that wanted to pet me. I was sooo tired I fell asleep while Abby and Rickey read to me. We finally got to go home. But first we had to stop at McD's for my cheeseburger. That was YUMMY!!!

We had fun last night!

Mom gave me a bath yesterday. YUCK. I thought that I was going to go for a ride but noooo just the bath. I heard Dad tell her that it was too cold for me to stay out all night wet so I got to stay in the house! So did Laurie. Mom put us in the laundry room but when she let Brandy out to go potty Laurie and I escaped. We went running thru the house. It was so much fun. But Mom came back in with Brandy and told us we had to go back to the laundry room. We tired laying on the couch but Mom said no and that we had to be quiet so we didn't wake up Dad. We tried to talk her out of it but we finally gave in and off to the laundry room we went. It was nice, tho.
