Arrival Story:
I got Peterbuilt from the Human Society in June of 1998 when he was 2 years old. He didn't like kids at all and tolerated my mother-in-law but didn't really like her. He slept on my husbands pillow and when he came home and came into the bedroom he growled at him. We soon got into a rhythm and he came to accept him and so we adopted another little puppy who was 8 weeks old. He loved her and took to her instantly. He mothered her and made sure she was clean daily. My husband & I separated in the coming year and Peterbuilt stayed with me and Missy stayed with my husband. We have gotten all the dogs together last fall and they all got along famously.
