I have a confession...

I was discovered tonight, my secret obsession... eating cat poop. My mom and dad both caught me "indulging" today, and I'm afraid now that I have a taste for it, it may be difficult to give up. My parents are talking about installing an electronic cat door to keep me out of the bathroom. They won't be happy to pay over $200 to get a door installed, but at least they won't worry about me all the time. Bummer for me, I'm really enjoying "KittySnickers". Ha ha!

My Continued Adventures

Things are going great here with my new family. I've been allowed the run of the house a couple of times while Mamma and Daddy were away. What happens in an empty house stays in an empty house, if you know what I mean... heh, heh, heh. No, seriously, I was really good and only terrorized the cats a little bit.

Although I love my new family, I still really don't like strangers and being out where there's a lot of commotion. In fact, I really tried to get at one of our neighbors. Mamma doesn't like him anyway, and I guess on some level I realized that, but she still showed me she was the boss and I shouldn't do that to anyone, no matter how weird and creepy they are.

I had my second obedience class Friday night, just me and the 6 month old male pit bull named "Cookie". He is the teacher's pet. Again, I tried to bite the teacher when she tried to push my butt down so I would "sit". Pushy lady. Mamma says she is going to spend more time with me out of the house to "expose" me to more stuff, people, and other dogs. I'll do my best to be good, but I'm not promising anything.

Mamma was talking to Daddy the other day about that poor Doxie who got run over. She said her Animal Control officer friend told her that at least 80% of the dogs he finds hit by cars are unneutered males, and that if people would just get their dogs fixed, there would be fewer sensless deaths. I'm sure happy I've met nice people in my life who cared enough about me to protect me from that kind of thing happening to me. I hope you other dogs out there have families that caring!

These Weekends are Too Short!

I don't know about you other dogs out there, but weekends with my human parents seem to go by so fast! We took a few short walks, and mamma was trying to do some of that stuff they taught her in the obedience class. I understand her, but I'll never have her trained if she thinks I'm going to do everything she says. Ha ha... I really want to chase me some cats, but my parents aren't very amused by that. They say until they can trust me around the cats, I have to sleep in my crate while they are gone. I'm sure the cats are happy about that, but I can't wait to roam free! Anyway, it's time for bed. This will be a long week with mamma and daddy at work every day, but I'm pretty smart, so I'm sure I'll keep myself entertained. Bye for now!
