I Got to Go!

Mommy has been telling me fur weeks that my pal Anya was coming to live here, furry close to our house. Anya and her mommy were flying on an airplane, and my mommy and daddy were going to pick them up at the airport. But they said I couldn't go. Anya is a big dog, and they would have luggage, and we don't have a furry big car. Plus, mommy and daddy didn't know if I would like sharing my car with another dog. I showed them my Friendliest Pooch award from DC Magic last year, but they were still skeptable. I thought the matter was settled.

Last night was the night! Anya was on her way! And when daddy got home from work, he started wondering why I couldn't go to the airport after all? What's the worst that could happen, he said. Mommy was really tired and couldn't see why not, so I got to go! I couldn't go inside the airport, so daddy and I waited in the parking garage while mommy went to collect Anya and her mommy. We waited and I kept wagging and wiggling at all the people who walked by. Then mommy came back, with Anya and her mommy! Anya and I sniffed each other and said hi, and then I sniffed her mommy and their luggage and helped daddy load the bags in the car. Then we all got in. I got to ride up front in mommy's lap! I didn't care that Anya was in my seat in the back!

When we got to Anya's new home, two more doggies came running out, but they were NOT happy to see us! They barkbarkbarked, and their daddy came out and told them to be quiet, then he took them back inside the house and I nevfur saw them again. Anya and I sniffed the house out, and then it was time fur us to go home. I'm sure Anya will make furiends with her new roomies, and I think we'll be seeing more of each other!

Sound's like you had fun Hershey! A lot of sniffing, cool! You're alway's a good boy and I bet Anya was very happy to meet you. I alway's sit in the front seat of our truck and see many thing's.

What!? You and Anya are gonna be neighbors? She didn't bark a thing in her diary about moving, I don't remember that she did anyways.
That is So Cool that you got to go along and meet evfurrybody!
Maybe you can go on playdates and stuff now.

WTG HERSHEY !!! you have a new neighbor to go on play dates with . now thats way cool ! Congrats ! and i'm very proud that you and Anya got along so well ! But who wouldn't like a Hershey as sweet and beautiful as you !

Thanks, everyfur! Yes, Zoe, it's Anya the dobie! She's furry nice and quiet. Mommy tried to get some photos, but all the hoomans were pretty tired. We'll post a couple, though!

Hershey - I really loved meeting you and your Mom and Dad! It was so exciting, I slept most of today and only really got up when Jolanda and Josephine's Mom came and got us!
