Laying on his back having his tummy tickled; going to grandma's house; going "shopping" at PetSmart; playing with Sadie.
Having Sadie steal his treats and chewies.
Most anything stuffed and squeaky, but mostly his green fuzzy cube.
Ice cream, vegetables and fruit, graham crackers, and CHEESE!
Pretending he doesn't hear me when I call him.
My husband took me to a small pet store in Topeka to try to convince me that we should get a ferret. As I was looking at how much it would cost to "outfit" a ferret, I looked up and there was the most adorable little Pekingese watching me and looking so lonely. There were no other puppies for sale, only him. I fell in love and we left with both him and a ferret! What a deal. He has brought so much joy to our home...I can't imagine what we ever did without him!
He is a stubborn little guy and doesn't always like to come inside when we call him. So, to get him to come in, we call out, "Turbo...Cheese!" and in a nano-second he is through the door, sitting in front of the refrigerator, wagging his tail awaiting his cheese. I guess he has US trained! He also knocks on the storm door when he wants to come in. He seems to think he gets cheese for that, too. And, he usually does. He is definitely the "king" here and has us all wrapped around his little paw.
~~Sadly, Turbo tragically passed away on March 19,2011. His curiousity got the best of him and he squeezed under the fence to see what was in the new neighbors' backyard. Unfortunately, there were 2 large dogs waiting for him and they attacked and killed him. He was our special little buddy, our baby, and he was loved so much. He has left a hole in our lives that will never be filled. We have all cried an ocean of tears and we miss him so much. I pray to God that there is a heaven for his little soul and that there truly is a Rainbow Bridge and he is happily playing there with his new friends and waiting for us.
Who me? Are you talkin' to me??
