Arrival Story:
My husband took me to a small pet store in Topeka to try to convince me that we should get a ferret. As I was looking at how much it would cost to "outfit" a ferret, I looked up and there was the most adorable little Pekingese watching me and looking so lonely. There were no other puppies for sale, only him. I fell in love and we left with both him and a ferret! What a deal. He has brought so much joy to our home...I can't imagine what we ever did without him!

Bio:
He is a stubborn little guy and doesn't always like to come inside when we call him. So, to get him to come in, we call out, "Turbo...Cheese!" and in a nano-second he is through the door, sitting in front of the refrigerator, wagging his tail awaiting his cheese. I guess he has US trained! He also knocks on the storm door when he wants to come in. He seems to think he gets cheese for that, too. And, he usually does. He is definitely the "king" here and has us all wrapped around his little paw.
