Today I went to the groomers. HATED IT!!!!!!! SO BORING!!!!!! It seemed to take forever but I have to be honest, I do look very very stunning. I always look hot but today I look extra extra hot. I smell good, all my old hair is gone and I'm smooth and sleek. I'll stay clean today, but who knows what I'll get into tomorrow. By the way ladies...I AM single, so drop me a line. wink wink ;-)

Today I went to daycare for some puppy play. My mom sends me there for half days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. She uses those days for shopping, appointments and whatever else she needs to do when I'm not around. I go at 11:30 and she picks me up at 5. I always love to see her because I'm really tired by that time. I have been going there since I was 10 wks so I have grown up with many of the other dogs there, we have ssssooo much fun. The lady that watches us is really nice, she plays ball with us, cuddles and makes sure no one gets out of hand. The building where I go and play is right next door to my doctors so he is close by in case anyone gets hurt. This one guy got stitches the other day, he tried to climb on top of this girl (mom told me they were wrestling but I don't think so) and she turned around and bit his head. I didn't like the blood but he was okay in the end. I hurt my leg one day and had to go and see the doctor, he gave me lots of treats and said I was a good boy. I was okay just had to rest for a few days. It's my walk time. Bark at you soon.

Today my mom and dad felt so bad for leaving me last night, (guilt is an amazing thing) that they took me to Dairy Queen and bought me a vanilla ice cream cone. LOVED IT! Then we went down to the shore, we walked, played and met a few new puppy friends. Mom has been loving me up all day and I can't get enough. My mom is only 100 pds and my weight is 120, but I still love to curl up on her lap when we're watching tv. She says I crush her and I'm too big to be a lap dog but personally I don't think so and she wouldn't have it any other way. Oh yeah I almost forgot to tell you..last night we had this huge thunder storm. It was really, really loud and I tried to be brave, tried to be tough but in the end I needed my mom. She moved over in the bed and she pet my head until the storm went away. Well, I have to go bed time. Bark at you later.

My Mom and Dad are going to a party tonight and apparently I am not allowed to go. Can you believe it, me not being able to go. I hate to brag but I think my social skills are quite amazing. My grandma is coming over to babysit me which is great because I hate being left alone. I'll be good, I promise...well I shouldn't promise because my mind tends to wonder at times. Let's just say I'll try to be good and see what happens. Talk later and have a good one.

Mind games for dogs to play with humans

After your humans have given you a bath, don't let them towel dry you! Instead, run to their bed, jump up and dry yourself off on the sheets. This is especially good if it's right before the humans bedtime.
Act like a convicted criminal. When your humans come home, put your ears back, with tail between your legs and chin down, and act as if you have done something really bad. Then, watch as the humans frantically search the house for the damage they think you have caused. Note: This works best when you have done absolutely nothing wrong.
Let the humans teach you a brand new trick. Learn it perfectly. Then the humans try and demonstrate it to someone else, stare blankly at the humans. Pretend you have no idea what they are talking about.
Help your humans learn patience. When you go outside to pee, sniff around the entire yard as your humans wait. Act as if the spot you choose to pee will ultimately decide the fate of the earth.
Draw attention to your human. When out for a walk always pick the busiest place, most visible spot to go poo. Take your time and make sure everyone watches. This works particularly well if your humans have forgotten to bring a plastic bag.
When out for a walk , alternate between choking and coughing every time a strange human walks by.
Make your own rules. Don't always bring the stick back when playing fetch with your humans. Make them go and chase it every once in awhile.
Hide from your humans. When your humans come home, don't greet them at the door. Instead, hide from them, and make them think something terrible has happened to you. (Don't reappear until one of your humans is panic-stricken and close to tears.)
When your human calls you to come back in, always take your time. Walk as slowly as possible back to the door.
Wake up twenty minutes before the alarm clock is set to go off and make your humans take you out for your morning pee. As soon as you get back inside, fall asleep. (Humans can rarely fall back asleep after going outside, this will drive them nuts!)

Today my mom dicided to let my friend Keno come over and have a playday. I was ssssoooo excited. Keno is a lab cross (my mom calls him a mutt) and I think he is the coolest. We played in the backyard, swam in my doggie pool, and we had a picnic under my favourite tree. Mom wasn't very happy when we started running through her flowerbeds, geez mom relax. I noticed the flowers are a little bend and broken but I think they'll be okay, I don't think she knows, but secret...I pee on them all the time hehehehe. Well, its my nap time...talk soon.

Well I have lived with my puppy parents for a year now and it has been amazing. I have to tell you I have spend many hours training my new parents but it has been worth the time. Patience, that's what its all about. I have taught them to fetch...they throw the ball, I sit there and then you should see them go, they run after it and bring it right back to me. I have taught them to stay off the furniture, I lay on the couch or the bed and refuse to give in, stay firm my furry friends. I have taught them to pick up all my toys, walk me when my schedule allows and brush me only after I have had my morning nap. You as well can have well trained puppy parents, it just takes time, love and patience. I have to go for now, I think I need a belly rub.
