Arrival Story: There are the latest Los Coyotes reservation pups found in June. Mom was seen hanging out at one of the feeding stations and very pregnant and luckily adopted one of the homes where she stuck close for the last couple of weeks of pregnancy. When the guy who lived there noticed that mom was missing for a couple of days and then came back much slimmer he called me. It took a week to finally locate where she had the pups, down the side of a ravine under a rock. I found 5 - 3 boys and 2 girls and pulled them out and carried them up the hill, mom followed and was very concerned that I was putting her pups in a box in the back of my truck and not paying attention to me so I as able to catch her too. I brought all of them back to the ranch where we could keep an eye on them, keep them safe from predators and make sure all were fed and kept healthy. Come September they will be ready to find their forever homes.
