Arrival Story:
I adopted Maximus on his last day at a shelter. We both got so lucky! He is the offspring of a pair of black purebred Belgian Malinois who were stolen from a wonderful breeder in Florida. Somehow, he ended up at the Animal Welfare League. Because of his intimidating appearance, nobody wanted to adopt him. He was going to be put down the hour I adopted him!

Bio:
I discovered that his grandfather is from Belgium, and his father's name was Max! There are very few Black Belgian Malinois. He is a very serious dog with special training in protection. He has been a lifesaver for me.
