Aubie won my heart the moment I saw him. When I picked him up he put his little head on my chest and looked up at me with those big beautiful brown eyes and that sealed the deal!
Bio:
Hello, my name is Aubie. My "Mommie" named me after the mascot at Auburn University. I don't why she did because their mascot is a tiger not a Shih Tzu maybe she just loves Auburn ;) Anyway, I love to run, play and roll in the grass especially after I've just had a bath, drives my Mom nuts but she still loves me! As you might have guessed, I'm the King of my Castle & I share my throne with Jordan, a beautiful black & white Shih Tzu, we just keep Mom around for the treats. She is a stickler for making us work for our treats too. I can sit up and beg like a chipmunk and can hold it for a long time too. I'm usually begging the entire time Mom eats dinner. I can also walk upright on my back legs and turn around in circles.
I love to chase Jordan around the house & yard. We just had our 2nd litter of puppies, 3 girls & 1 boy. Boy, do they love chasing me around the house. They are very cute but I can't wait until Mom finds them a forever home. Jordan & I love to play fetch, she usually beats me to the ball but she always lets me get it.
I'm also a very sensitive little guy whenever my Mommie or Jordan are feeling bad, I will take them my favorite toy, a stuff dog that looks like Jordan, and place it on their pillow or shoulder then I will snuggle upto them ever so gently to make them feel better. My Mom says it usually works too!
I also love to travel! Hotel rooms used to freak me out a little so instead of sleeping next to Mom, I slept on the corner of the bed facing the door, I didnt get much sleep during my first trip. But now I realize that hotel rooms are fun with a ton of new smells to investigate! But I could do without the airplane rides, I just hate being couped up in the carrier if they'd just let me sit on Mom's lap it would be perfect! I could even look out the window as my Mom always gets a window seat. She takes me everywhere except the grociery store all she has to say is "Wanna go for a ride" and I am ready to go! Sometimes she says it a little too early so I have bark at her to get her to come on. I used to stand up in the seat with my paws on the window so I could see out but now I have a doggie car seat so I can see everything!
Some of you guys may think this is a little silly but I love to get dressed up even if I have no place to go. Mom used to keep our clothes in hat boxes. Mine was blue & Jordan's was pink & black but now we just have too many clothes so we got our own closet, can you believe it? None of my doggie friends have their own closet! Anyway, I get so excited when I see Mom heading for the closet I just start whinning & turning around in circles. In fact, she has to dress me first because I keep sticking my head into whatever she has in her hands.
All in all, I have a good & healthy life, Mom feeds me Iams everyday and takes me to vet, a little to often if you ask me, whenever I need it & for yukky shots. So pick me as I am so ADORABLE! Everyone says its true not just my Mommie.
PS Mom has much better pictures of me but we are at work right now so this is the best we can do at the moment.
