Arrival Story:
I lost my "Gucci dog" suddenly, and there was quite a hole in my life even with Draco. My boss knew that I have always loved Schnauzers, and she had one she was fostering. She said that I could have her. She has been here a week tomorrow, and still seems amazed that she has a home of her own.

Alex crossed the rainbow bridge today. Her kidneys started to shut down. We had 5 good years together. She enjoyed 5 years with a real family where she was loved and pampered. I enjoyed 5 years with a wonderful, beautiful soul. She will be missed in the house, and she will always dwell in my heart.

It's been more than a year since we moved to the new house. I have a favorite place on the couch now. Bogey and I spend most of the day in the den with the big guy. He lets us out and back in again whenever we want. Mom was home with us everyday during the hot time, but now she gets up and leaves almost every morning again.

I have itchy spots all over me and sometimes they almost drive me crazy. Mom says I am going to see the vet about it. She thinks I am alergic to something in the yard. Since it is getting to be the cooler time, all the trees in the yard are losing their leaves, and dropping acorns too. Bogey tries to eat the acorns, but I think they are what's making me itch.

Rainy Sundays

It is very rainy today, and I don't like it. The rain scares me, eventho my mom tells me not to worry about it. We have a new member of the family. The big guy wanted a dog he could run around with and take walks with. The other day he and my mom left for a while and when they came back they had another dog with them. Beau, the new addition to the family, is very friendly - maybe too friendly, cause he is a lot bigger than I am. My mom says he is a Basset Hound, I guess that is a hound that comes from Basset wherever that is.
Well, I will tell you. I have lived in this new home 3 moon cycles now, and it is still wonderful. I hope my new life never ends.

Wow, I never knew anyone lived like this. I have lived with these people for one moon cycle, and I never know what to expect next. First of all we started out in one house and then the people packed up all their stuff and took me and Dray to another house. This new house is really neat, lots of trees and really cool grass. Then a few days ago a whole bunch of new people came to stay at the house. There were 4 big people, 2 medium people and 2 small people (they were very loud, and they scared me). Anyway, I thought they were going to stay forever. Then this morning they all gathered up their things and drove away. I don't think I will ever understand humans, but I get to sleep in the bed every night and this morning I got those "egg things" again - they really taste good, and are easy to chew - which is good since I don't have very many teeth.
