Arrival Story:
My mommy was looking for a pit bull dog to adopt, and found me at a shelter in a nearby city through petfinder.com. My name was Licky at the time, because I was found abandoned outside of a liquor store. It took mommy a month to find an apartment that would let her have a dog, but she took the 1.5 hour drive every week to visit me.

Bio:
My mommy is not sure of my lineage, as I was adopted from an animal shelter, but I am definitely a bully! Mommy says I most closely resemble an over-sized Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Oversized my tooshie! I only weigh 45 lbs. I tell mommy she never feeds me enough. I love to cuddle, and I'm an expert at it. No one can resist having a Roscoe in the lap! Mommy says I have changed numerous people's perception of pit bulls, even those that don't particularly care for dogs. I especially love children, since I can easily reach their faces for a kiss!
