Your dog is a angel sent from heaven that we only have for a short time. Our boy is trying very hard but is losing his battle with kidney disease. He was diagnosed May 26th as a strong possibility of congenital kidney disease. Today is June 1st wow this is too fast. He was a healthy look typical 16 month old GSD. We took him to the because we thought he had a reaction to Frontline Plus. His tongue had a distinguishing black coloring down the middle. He also needed his heartworm test (blood work) then BOOM off the map
Amylase - 2313 (H)
Bun - 296 (H)
creatinine - 11.1 (H)
phosphorus -14.5 (H)
potassium - 3.8 (L)
chloride - 104 (L)
RBC - 2.15 (L)
HGB - 5.4 (L)
HCT - 16.2 (L)
Anion Gap - 33 (H)
Wow cannot be Muri, he is bouncy bright happy. Today he is constipated, lethargic & listless. We are so confused & crushed. He on antibiotics’, aluminum hydroxide, pepsit AC, loradine (allergies). I would feel lousy to. We just waiting for his urinalysis as the final blow. Gotta be hopeful that a happy, healthy puppy has got enough left to pull out if not kidney disease. Just losing our baby is a hard pill to swallow in 10 days. Give your pup a hug today, thay can be taken away so quickly
