My first friend "Bob" has came across the rainbow bridge. It is sad to leave his Mom and loved her soooooooo much. Bob said he is looking down at her and said he loved his coffee walks. Bob is so smart and is teaching me to be a good boy. He big and strong and a fast runner, wow. I got pooped out. My parents said it is "Bob's day" and we love Bob lots hugs, wags, woofs & cookies. http://www.dogster.com/dogs/206901

Muri, is on his way to heaven, now. He was a good boy and selfishly missed. He can play now without pain, he can eat without pain. His unconditional love is sorely missed but never forgotten. God bless all dogs and they all go to heaven because they are pure and sinless. God said "I need that German Shepherd back". Thank you God for letting us borrow him. Good Bye, Muri

You can do everything and still not beat serious illness. Day & night nutritional, medical & spirtual research does not change anything but it does give you no regrets. We have none. Muri's new blood numbers are still extremely high. Our beloved Muri will die regardless of what we do. Tough.......tough sentence to write. At least we have the knowledge that we gave him a superior lifestyle. We love him and was are only dog and "the only dog" sometimes get spoiled damn I'm glad we did. He does have it the best a dog can ask for even it was temporary. Muri owes us nothing, we owe him. Thanks Muri
Love to all!!!

This will be the first visit to a new doctor, Dad & Mom are very frusterated. I like my new diet but I don't know what I need until Dad & Mom see my bloodwork. I hope it is better than last month. I like to eat but I've had tummy problems. Don't know yet but my tongue is nice and pink. Hope to have good news.
I want to feel like a puppy, again. :(
Hugs

Some Good News

Must be lucky stumbled across varies message boards And found a German Shepherd board /www.pedigreedatabase.com and my very best friends now led me a site www.consumeraffair.com about the type of dry dog food we were using Canidea. We had discontinued using after using S/D puppy. We did the research last May & found Canidea to be one of best dry & begin using wet & dry in May of 2007. Then after doing research decided that we would use Merrick canned after Muri seemed to start rejecting his food in August. All went well used up Canidea mixing with Merrick than all Merrick by October. Muri, was eating fine took to vet everything was great. He started putting on a little more weight (filling out). But, Muri still did not care for the Merrick dry. So, because of our previous experience with Canidea we brought back the Canidea dry with Merrick canned. Beginning in January. Everything was working 75% dry 25% wet until April 2009. Muri seemed to acting lethargic thought it was growing. He was scheduled for a vet exam and thought it would be a question if it continued. Then May 16 we administered his first Frontline of the year next day Black tongue...we called vet. We thought Frontline caused an allergic reaction. They got us in & did a work up & said Kidney Disease!! We were shocked & devastated. Then we would not give up something try anything read everything, hours upon hours of research led to the consumer affairs site then read the horror stories in regards to Canidae stopped immediately. Started cooking food & adding Merrick canned THE NEXT DAY & EVERYDAY SINCE HIS TONGUE IS PINK AGAIN, it has been 2 weeks black....make your own assumptions but he appears at least 50% better. The anemia is our biggest concern and of course the phospherous. Power of the Paw, hope to bring more good news. Gotta hope since vet gave us 2-4 months and 1 week is over

Your dog is a angel sent from heaven that we only have for a short time. Our boy is trying very hard but is losing his battle with kidney disease. He was diagnosed May 26th as a strong possibility of congenital kidney disease. Today is June 1st wow this is too fast. He was a healthy look typical 16 month old GSD. We took him to the because we thought he had a reaction to Frontline Plus. His tongue had a distinguishing black coloring down the middle. He also needed his heartworm test (blood work) then BOOM off the map
Amylase - 2313 (H)

Wow cannot be Muri, he is bouncy bright happy. Today he is constipated, lethargic & listless. We are so confused & crushed. He on antibiotics’, aluminum hydroxide, pepsit AC, loradine (allergies). I would feel lousy to. We just waiting for his urinalysis as the final blow. Gotta be hopeful that a happy, healthy puppy has got enough left to pull out if not kidney disease. Just losing our baby is a hard pill to swallow in 10 days. Give your pup a hug today, thay can be taken away so quickly
