Hey, everypup, my Birthday is on Saturday!!! I am gonna be EIGHT years old. I think that is the age when you are supposed to be a senior dog.
So, in light of that, I shall now begin to sleep in EVERY morning. Mom and those other younguns can get up as early as they want, and go outside in the cold, wet snow and ice, and I shall be sleeping away in the warm water bed.
Once I get up, I shall mosey out into the living room and I will be expecting my breakfast on a TV tray right in front of the TV, since I am now going to be of an age where it is important to keep up to date with all the changes to the retirement benefits.
After breakfast I shall go outside for a bit, IF the sun is shining. I will expect a clean, fluffy, sweet smelling blankie in my canvas cot out on the porch so I can sunbathe and watch my Chickies. If it is warm, I will stay out there until Mom gets home from work, if not, I expect to be allowed back inside when I am ready.
When Mom gets home I expect her to greet me first, and ask about my day. I shall accompany her to my Chickie house to feed my Chickies and to select which egg I will have in my dinner.
Speaking of dinner, I will be eating in the living room on my tray, NOT in the dog room with the others. They will stay in their crates until I have completely finished my dinner so as to not disturb me whilst I eat.
After dinner, I shall select which bed is suitable for my evening snooze. Any other dog shall defer to my selection and not be snippy or snarky. When I deem it is time, I shall stand in front of the bedroom and I expect Mom to hustle right over and let me in so I can pick MY place of choice on the water bed. Again, all others shall defer to me, and there will be no bumping, nudging or touching me!
That should do it, I guesss. If I come up with any other ideas I shall amend this document.
