As noted in my yesterday diary... the sun was shining and it was a mild 70 degrees. Well, the sun is shining again, but it is now 56 degrees and the wind is blowing like 40 MPH! However, somehow, Mom and Skye decided we still needed to go kayaking so off we went. It wasn't too bad when we left here, but while we were on the pond a wicked cold front rolled in from the north and we had to paddle as fast as we could to get back to the car before the rain. We almost made it... we didn't get too wet!
I think I will wait to go kayaking again until about August. By then the sun will have warmed up that water and it should be nice.
Oh, the good news.... black flies don't like cold rain and high winds!!!!!
