Arrival Story:
So, I'm Salvatore's foster mom, through the Chihuahua Rescue I work with, and what can I say, I fell in love and just can't give him up! So, we adopted him! Sal was pulled from a kill shelter in GA the morning he was supposed to be euthanized....and I am SO glad he was pulled! He came to me sweet as a button, with a dull coat and lots of dandruff, but with great food he now looks like a different dog! He is shiny, silky, and after his bad ear infection cleared up, he is the picture of health, and so cute! He is a sweetiepie who loves to be on my lap, and jumps on his hindlegs to be picked up b/c his luxating patellas probably make it harder for him to jump. He also hasn't figured out how to jump on the bed or use the doggie ramp, but it is ok, I always know there will be a little head right next to my bed waiting to be lifted up and ready to snuggle under the covers!
