Well, let's see now. First off when Mommy let me out of my pen, I grabbed the frisbee and took off with it. Mommy wouldn't chase me because she was busy cleaning out the dog pen, so I chewed my frisbee all to pieces. Mommy frowned but picked up the pieces and went on about her cleaning task.
Next, I found my retriever "dummy" and since no one wanted to play, I chewed the end off of that too. Wow! It is fascinating to see the stuff that they put inside of those things.
Then I moved on to the plastic jug and the pop can. Mommy scolded me for that and threw the things in the trash. She was busy trimming bushes by now; so I grabbed her little ole white plastic hen that is a planter and tore the wings off of that. Tee Hee!! By now, Mommy is getting a little grouchy, for some reason.
Well, we finally came in the house; Mommy said that she needed to rest a little and cool off. So I decided to explore a little bit. Mommy followed me around through the house and closed all of the doors into the bathrooms and bedrooms. Wonder why she did that? Soon I found myself trapped in this little pinchy place with the glass doors. The door closed behind me and I couldn't get out by myself. Mommy didn't come to rescue me so I stood there and waited patiently. Pretty soon, she began to call me and I could hear all of the doors open and close and she kept calling and calling but I couldn't answer her. She proceeded to go through the whole house, opening and closing doors three times and then went to the basement door and called me. She should know that I never go down there, it is too dark and I don't like going down stairs. Pretty soon, she came back again and I could hear her go in the bathroom and pull back the shower curtain and she kept calling me. Fianlly, she came into the other bathroom and opened the shower door. There I stood patiently waiting to be rescued. Geez! Mommy what took you so long? I 've been here all along. *Snickers*
Well, anyhow, Mommy opened the door and made me go outside and told me to be a good dog. Wonder what she meant by that? I am always a good dog. I even got some treats when she sent me outside, so I must have been really good, right?
Well, it is only noon; so I must check around and see what other fun things I can find to do. Why is Mommy standing inside the window and watching me with a disgusted look on her face? Oops!, maybe I wasn't supposed to tear that piece of lattice off the deck! Sorry Mom, but it looked like such fun.
Oh, and about those flowers well, I really didn't mean to smash them all down. Do you think that they will come back up after awhile?
Maybe I will just go lie down under that big shade tree for awhile and rest. (at least until Mommy goes back inside) Heh Heh
