The Anniversary of the Terrible Tornado.....

At 5:41pm one year ago today, our Mamma and us 5 dogs were hit by an EF5 Tornado. It does not seem like it was a year ago today...Mamma is still suffering from PTSD from this horrible Tornado.... Mamma took us all into the hallway and five seconds later she heard the sirens going off and then the house began to come apart....She got us into our bathroom and she was crying out for Harley Davidson...She heard whimpering from the back bedroom that had already been destroyed. She was crying and then she saw Harley in one of the dresser drawers. She got him out, and brought him into the bathroom with the rest of us. HE WAS NOT HURT, just scared. Mamma threw towels on all of us and laid on top of us, so hopefully nothing would fall on us, just her. She was hit by all kinds of debris and then the roof came off the house.....We were all soaked and scared...There were Angels all around us or we would not have survived. It took the firefighter volunteers 2 hours to get us out, the Tv
entertainment center had been thrown all the way down the hall and was blocking the bathroom door and so much debris. When they got us all out one of the neighbors from one street over came up to see we had survived, her house was not completely destroyed like ours...She took all of us to her house, got Mamma some warm clothes and tried to dry us all off, it was raining so hard...
I will never forget what she did for us, and we go and see her often, she is a precious friend. Mamma had bumps, bruises, and some cuts, but we were spared, spared for a reason...
We will always be grateful to all of our Dogster friends who sent us help, in so many ways. We received so much.....God Bless each and everyone of you.

A Mother loves right from the start.

She never feels that she has given enough.

I WAS ONE OF THE DIARY PICKS OF THE DAY, TODAY!

Oct,15th, 20ll....What a great day! Thank You, Dogster! It made My Mamma Smile! I was all excited, cause she told me, so I smiled back at her. This was a Special Entry, because on this day, I was Blessed by Father Frank with Holy Water...It was like nothing I have ever experienced, Mamma and I got WET! BOL! It was very Special to Mamma...The Blessing of the Animals. They had a special time for us, and loved on us and gave us TREATS TOO! YUM! Our Family won, for the most dogs there! We got to take home a box of Chew Bones, and best of all
Mamma and Daddy got to take Memories......

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING

A message every adult should read because children
are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my
first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately
wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a
stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind
to animals.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my
favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little
things can be the special things in life.

When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a
prayer, and I knew that there is a God I could always
talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make a
meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I
learned that we all have to help take care of each other.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you take care
of our house and everyone in it, and I learned we have
to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw how you
handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't
feel good, and I learned that I would have to be
responsible when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come
from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it's all right to cry.

cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be..

I HAD THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!!!

I am a Big Boy Now! I am 5 years old!! My Birthday started out with me getting up and running out to the living room to see if Daddy was home! I wooked and I wooked and then I went to the Window and wooked to see if his red truck was still here, it was gone....He had to work, on a Holiday....*Sighs* See, My Daddy puts up these round looking outerspace looking things on peoples houses or on a pole in their yard, so them can watch TV!! He works loooonnnngggg
hours.....He gets soooo tired! Me Wuvs my Daddy and Manna Very Much!
Mamma came in the Kitchen got on her puter and then I heard music! She was singing with the puter happy B-day to ME!!! She sang and sang! I wagged my tail so she knew I wiked it! Then I jummped up on Mamma and we danced! That was fun! Then she said do you wanna go outside? Me and My Brofurs and Sisfur went outside and MAMMA CAME TOO! She played and Played wif us! It was so nice outside! She said Daddy had called and He was on his way home wif surprises! OH, BOY! FUR ME!! DA BIRFDAY BOY!
My Daddy and Mommy Had already bought me a party Hat! I thought what could be in the sacks Daddy was carrying in. Mamma said after
dinner we could have our treats and I could have my Birfday Surprise! I was so excited!
After dinner both Momma and Daddy went into our room where we
sleep and where us furs eat(we still live wif Daddy's Sisfur
till our house is built, from losing it in the Bad Tornado)
and he had bought us Special Treats, all kinds, kinds that
we GOOD FOR US TOO!
Then........I GOT MY SURPRISE! A MEATY BUSY BONE! (Daddy got my Brofurs and Sisfurs got Munchy Bones!) My Bone WAS SOOOOOO GOOOD!

(Then Mamma snuck me a small bite of cheesecake! Yummmmmmy!!!!)I
