Birthday: March 17th 2003 Arrival Story: I came into my furever home about two weeks after Gypsy (Mama's first Dal) passed away. Mama was looking at DalSavers, a Dal rescue group in WI & IL, which is the same group that Gypsy was adopted from. She found these puppies that were being fostered literally a few blocks from Mama & Daddy's house. So, they came to look at us puppies along with my human Granma and Granpaw. Long story short, they brought home puppy Tipper and my Granma and Granpaw brought home puppy Maizy (my littermate) on June 24, Daddy's birthday. We were told by DalSavers that I was born in March, so my birthday became March 17th birthday since we didn't know the real date. Bio: My Family and Furiends...
So, Maizy is my littermate sister and we literally live about ten blocks from each other. I get to go there when the "flying monkeys" (aka human siblings) visit Granma for babysitting. That is AWESOME, but Maizy and I often wonder what happened to our other brother and sister. Otherwise, my furbling, Maxxie, and I get along great and keep each other warm while sleeping in the same bed when the nights get cold.
I have made so many wonderful pals here on Dogster, and I can't imagine not acknowledging them. I can't list all of them, but those I hold dearest to me are Flicka , Buttons , Henry , Madison , and the cutest Basenji I know, Savannah aka Banners! . Again, these are just a handful of pups that I've had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know through Dogster.
Fun Facts About ME...
* I have a sweet personality, and believe that the "bad rap" that Dals seem to have is rubbish!
* I'm very laid back and don't play too much...I'd rather snooze on the couch :)
* I do not have allergies, unlike Gypsy and Maizy.
* I am GREAT at playing catch!!
* My favorite food is anything humans eat ;) I love watermelon, too!
* I don't really have a favorite toy, but I like to chew things...usually something stuffed...as in Mama's bears or someone's sock.
My Favorite Dogster "Spots"...
I've met most of my Dogster pals by participating in groups and visiting the Dogster forums . When I first joined Dogster, I had a lot more time on my paws...now, I don't because of Mama's work. Unfortunately, I just don't get the group time that I'd like and don't want to join more groups if I don't have the chance to participate. But I do have my favorites! :)
1. ConnectTheDOTS! for Dalmatians
2. Pawsome Pages (the "brains" who help us decorate our pages)
3. Pets That Love Fun
4. Simple Scraps For Dogs and Cats
5. There are also two private groups that I play in (sorry, can't name "names").

For those of you who do not know (OK, probably mostly all of you, BOL!), Mama is a MRI Tech in a hospital. Well, today Mama had an opportunity to meet with the owner of a MRI company that scans animals in the veterinary setting about a job in our area!
Yeah...US ANIMALS! Can you believe it?
Mama says it'd be WAY COOL to see what we look like on the insides and to be able to see what's causing us to not feel so well sometimes. All-in-all, it was a GREAT meeting, and Mama is super excited and hopeful that she gets the position. Please keep your paws crossed, could you? :)
I wonder if Mama will need any "models"? Do you think they can see through my spots? *ponders*
It feels like nearly everywhere I turn lately there's something sad. Someone's passing to the bridge...someone's leaving Dogster...someone's pawrent isn't doing well.
Of course there isn't going to be an answer to my "Why?"
Still...well, just want to say to those who are going through difficult times right now that you are in my thoughts. I wish there was something I could do to help, and that my heart hurts to see the suffering and pain, whether physical or in the form of a broken heart. I wish I could wrap up a hug and send it your way...that it would bring happiness to you for just a little bit.
But, I cannot. So please just know that you are in my thoughts...
