Arrival Story: From Amy - My first Dal, Gypsy, was SOOO SWEET. When she passed away, I was so sad. Gypsy left such a void in her absence that I checked the same DalSavers that brought me Gypsy to see what dogs were available. It isn't that Gypsy was replaceable, I still think about her all of the time, but I found out that there were puppies available. The funny thing is that these puppies were being fostered literally a few blocks from our then house. So, we (my husband and I) went to look at the puppies. My Mom & Dad were there, too, because they fell in love with Dals since meeting Gypsy. Long story short, we brought home puppy Tipper and my parents brought home puppy Maizy on June 24, my husband's birthday. We were told by DalSavers that the pups were born in March, so we gave them a March 17th birthday since we didn't know the real date.
Bio: Since then, we moved. Tipper's new house has a great BIG yard, and abuts a pond, and she really loves the outdoors (usually sitting on the patio chair, but that's what she does :). And, the more fun part, we live about 10 blocks away from my parents, which means the sister Dals are 10 blocks away from each other. And, they see each other daily. So, thank "dogness", they still have a great, close relationship.

When we brought home Tipper, it was just my husband (then fiancee) and I...now we have 2 little ones, a boy and girl. These kids are so full of energy, so they are affectionately dubbed the "flying monkeys", as you'll see in Tipper's diary entries. We also have a dachsund (Maxxie), cats, a bird, some fish...a mini zoo. But we are so glad for each them and they're unique personalities.
