Arrival Story:
I bought Katie from a breeder in North Carolina. I was living in Maryland at the time. It was a long, long drive, but it was worth it. I must admit to thinking at that time that English Bull Terriers are so ugly they're cute. However, she wore me down to where I think she's adorable. Driving back, everytime we stopped at a rest stop, she hid between my husband and I when anyone came near.

Bio:
Katie is very outgoing and isn't afraid of anything. Nor does she need to be, because the minute she bares her fangs, everyone disappears. She loves cats - for dinner. She truly loves people and would rather be around them than other dogs. She wants all attention on her. She's a sun bunny and loves to lay out in the sun getting a sunburn. She has one paw she can't walk on, because she grew bone spurs on the nuckle of one toe and the toe had to be removed. Unfortunately, she still can't walk on it. However, I got her a brace that goes from elbow to foot and wraps under the foot, taking the weight off of the pad completely. She has no problem taking walks then. She is my baby. She and I went through some bad stuff together the first 6 years of her life and she still loves me and anyone else unconditionally. She always comes to be with me when I'm feeling really sad. She's very, very sneaky, and she has the patience of a cat. She'll wait until she knows your focus is somewhere else, then sneak up or down to get into the cat box. She's even able to cross a hardwood floor without making a noise! I'm thinking she must be on her tiptoes or something.
