Arrival Story:
I had two dogs pass away very close to each other. I have not been dogless for 9 years, so I began to look for a new puppy. I stumbled across Zoe's breeder and went out to meet the litter of puppies she had. As soon as I saw Zoe I knew she was the perfect dog for me. I asked when her birthday was, and it was the same as my boyfriend's (at the time) birthday, I knew that it was ment to be. Well I ended up loosing the boyfriend, but I ended up having an awsome dog out of it. So I lucked out.

Bio:
Zoe is working on her Obedience titles in the upcoming year. She has already earned her Canine Good Citizen at only 4 months old. She passed her TDI test at just over two years old. She is such a smart dog, and is going to go very far in life. We have started her in herding, obedience, and maybe some other activities.

It's been so long since I have gotten a chance to update everyone. Since my last post I currently have 2 rally O legs, hopfully I can get my first title soon. Mom also wants to get me back into competition obedience, so we will start on that as well. If you remember me posting about my brother Sparky, who we helped get a new home, he is doing great. Mom found him a great home, with some very nice people. They come to visit us at work alot and I get to pick on my brother. Boy does he look different. Also my "Uncle Nova" has moved down to were I live. His mommy moved and could not take him, so my mommy helped him get a home with Branden, who we work with. So Nova gets to come visit all the time. Mom keeps telling me not to be jealous but a new puppy is coming home next month. Not sure what she means by this but I liked the last thing she brought home. My sister cat Pixie, she is fun to play with. Well that is all I have to update on.

Herding

Well I had my first herding experience today. Mom met up with my SAR trainer Kim and her dog Piper. I love Piper even though she is not too fond of me. She looks alot like me, only black. Well Mom took me out to a field and inside this field were two of the craziest looking dogs I have ever seen. They were tall, and their paws were covered by this black shiny stuff. I heard mom call them hooves? I dont know what that means. Anyways once I got closer to these critters, I noticed they were not dogs. Mom called them sheep. I ran around, chaseing these sheep. Wow, was it fun. I had so much fun I actually hurt my feet. I was having too much fun to let Mom know I had hurt them, but she finally stopped me and looked at my feet. Now my feet are wrapped and Mom keeps taking care of me. All in all it was worth it. Mom promised we would go back to these sheep again. I believe her, she always lets me play.

Well this weekend was my first conformation show. Mom has been working with me on conformation for a while now and said I would be fine. She was more worried that she would mess up apposed to me. Well the first day I did ok, I was very wiggly for the judge. I got 4th out of 4 dogs. Mom was still proud since we came home with a ribbon. Today was show number two. I did very well. This time I let the judge go over me with no problem. I got 2nd. I had alot of fun and mom said we will do it again real soon. Yeah for me!!!
