Arrival Story:
After much contemplation I decided to get a pug. I purchased a kennel, clothes, and toys; puppy proofed the house to ensure her safety. The litter was 7 weeks old when I went to pick out my pup.
I chose Lilo because she was the most mello pup of the litter.

Bio:
At 10 wks old Lilo got into it with a straw broom. The vet believed a piece of straw remained in the trachea. Because she only weighed 2.5 lbs the only option was to treat it as an infection and pray. We fed her by syringe every 3 hours for about a week until she began to eat on her own again but we still weren’t in the clear. Totally, it took 3 days in ICU, 4 rounds of antibiotics, and steroids, a total of 12 weeks and miraculously she survived. This poor puppy had been sick for over half of her life. Lilo is now 6 months old and she weighs 10.8 lbs. She is full of life, afraid of nothing, and makes us laugh everyday. Lilo vs Broom Lilo 1 The Broom 0
