Arrival Story:
Bernie is a pound rescue. We saw him in the local newspaper in the Pet of the Week section. After visting with him for just a few seconds, we could tell he had been practicing his "love me" look. We had to take him home. Later we discovered the only thing that he DOESN"T have wrong with him is his loving, playful personality. We have Bernie on the road to recovery for his hook worms, whip worms, heart worms, tape worms,kennel cough, and also both baby teeth and adult due to malnutrition. He was severly underweight when we adopted him but he is being spoiled rotten and has already put on a few pounds.
