Marley was adopted through Small Paws Rescue

Marley came to me as a foster dog with alleged aggression issues. I worked with a behaviorist on what were actually trust issues, but due to Marley's history he was not a great candidate for adoption so he joined my family. He is a very sweet affectionate boy.

Hoo pup did I catch it yesterday. Momma put this neat-o stuff on one of her garden beds. She says it's organic bone meal...whatever...all I know is the stuff smelled and tasted wunnerful. Momma forgot to latch the garden gate and caught me standing in her garden eating the dirt. She yelled at me to get out but I just looked at her and went back to eating that yummy bone meal enhanced here she comes like a freight train huffing and puffing and yelling the whole way. She gives me a pop on the butt to get me to move and when I don't she grabs me up....well I couldn't help myself....I GRRRRRRRRR'ed at her and snarled at her.....and she said 'don't you even talk to me like that buster....I'll blister your furry white butt.'....but I Grrrrrrr'ed again while she was taking me into the house....and she said 'don't you even think about will be one sorry little dog'. Well by this time I realized I'd bit off more than I could I gave her my bestest sad brown eyes. She sent me to my room to think things over. Then she came in and asked if I wanted to make up yet. I creeped out of my box and laid down in front of her and showed her my best I'm sorry, I know you're the boss belly. She gave me a belly scritch and said we were made up now. I think Momma understands that I Grrrrr'ed at her cause I was a little afraid. I think that pop on my butt and her grabbing me up made me have flashbacks to my past....or something like that. But I sure am sorry I grrrrrr'ed at my dear Momma who puts the food in my dish and rubs my tummy and ears.

oooohhhhhh my tummy hurts

So I learned something the other day. I learned that you should not eat a big OLD cucumber from the garden. I think the cucumber had been frozed and thawed and frozed and thawed or sumthin but I ate it anyhoo. Then later I went into MOmma's sewerin room and upchucked, and upchucked and upchucked under her sewerin table.

Momma found me and got things all cleaned up then took me and layed me on a blankie on the couch next to her. Ooh my tummy was talking real loud...and I groaned and groaned and Momma rubbed my tummy. I finally felt better, but Momma went out and locked the garden gate so no one can snack on old cucumbers anymore.

Stoopid cucumber!

Momma came home from the grocery store the other day with tons of groceries. I like to help her carry them in (usually by getting really close to her feet when her arms are full) and I like to stand by and watch while she is putting stuff away. So there she was putting stuff in the fridge when all of a sudden this strange black wrinkly thing landed on the floor. Momma didn't seem to notice. So I went to check it out. Then Momma says..'hey didn't I buy two evercados?...wheres the other one'....evercados....hmmmmmm I snatched up the strange thing and did my best to stroll innocently off toward the bedroom but Momma caught on and said come back here with my evercado. She took the funny thing away before I could really even get a any of you pups know what them evercados taste like? I sure would like to know.
