After our shepherd X George had to be euthanized we lived without a dog in the house for several months. We felt we wanted another dog, but not just any dog. Because George was arthritic and 75 lbs at the end, it was near impossible to move him towards the end of his life. He had adopted me originally and we loved him dearly. His hair was constantly shedding. A new dog would have big paws to fill.
I went to the shelter looking for a 40 lbs dog but found Boodle. Dave and I fell in love with the little guy. We took him home and its been a fun experience since then!
The shelter told us Boodle had been surrendered by an elderly woman who'd had him and another unfixed male who was a pug-beagle (puggle) mix. Both of them were completely untrained and barely housetrained at age 1. Apparently she was evicted and had to give the boys up. I feel for her as it must have been very sad to have to give up the boodle-meister!
I AM A HANDSOME AND FUN MAN!
I am part of White Moutain Mayhem Flyball and I also ride in my mommy's horse and carriage. I am great around horses and kids.
