ROYAL MEMBER OF THE DAY in PDPC

Hey everyone, remember me ? I was roaming this Earth for 16 years , but then my time finally came. Well, today I was picked as the Royal Member of The Day .........how about that !! So I'm just flying around up here, happy as a lark, letting everyone know ! I have some pretty pictures that Bailey made for me and Mama finally put them up. So I had my day in the sun today and had a fun time. Thank you so much, Bailey and PDPC !

I'm Royal Member of the Day in PDPC

Mama is tickled pink.........I am Royal Member of the Day in PDPC ! I polished up my wings and brushed my fur for this special day ! I still check in on Anabel to make sure she's doing a good job of taking my place. I know Mama really misses me, that's why she got another doxie. Anyway, it's MY SPECIAL DAY and I'm going to have fun with all my pals ! Hugs to you all !!! ❤

Yahoo, it Lucy....I'm up here ! I just flew down a bit to Thank all of you for thinking of me and sending me Rosettes...it's very touching to be remembered by you all ! Administrator of the Month !

I am so ecstatic, that that I had to fly down to tell you that I was picked for Administrator of the Month in "Black-and-tan Dogz of the world" I'm so glad that I'm still remembered here on Earth. I know Mama still thinks of me everyday, but it's nice to know that my pals remember me, too ! Thank you for the Honor and I miss you all.....Angel Hugs and Kisses !

This Empty Collar

The empty bed and the empty bowl,
the weed covered path we used to stroll;
dog snacks,muddy tracks and the hair on the floor,
and the slap of the flap on your dog door.

There's still the fence that kept you safe,
and there's still the bandanas I can't put on.
Some things, they remain,
but some things are forever gone.

These old photographs, they can't take your place;
they only bring tears that flow down my face.
Your love was unconditional, mine was the same.
The price of love is memories and their pain.

They say time heals everything
and yes I know that is true
The food and the Vet bills, you were worth every dollar,
but there is nothing so sad and it hurts so bad as I cling to
"this Empty Collar"

Hi Sweetie,
We just got home after Mama's Epidural and Mama was putting her purse away. This second time around, Mama's much sore than the first time, so she's not moving real fast. Well, all of a sudden, Daddy says, "Honey come here quick...look out the window "
Mama moved as fast as she could and what did she see ? A couple walking a little Black and Tan Doxie....just like you. She was young and skinny and had that cocky little walk....so much like you, except that one had a long tail. You had that little stub of a tail because you were born breech and it broke. A lady wanted to adopt but you, but didn't like the bump in the tail (how stupid ). She wanted it cut off and after it was done, she still didn't like how you looked....her loss !!! It was always so cute when you wiggled that little stub ! We still miss you and I miss holding you. I know you're pain free now and playing with the rest of Mama and Daddy's doxies and other dogs . We think of you everyday, Sweetie !

Happy Birthday My Sweet Angel

Happy Birthday Sweet Lucy ! Today you would have been 16 years old . I so wish you would have been around today, but your tired, little body could not go on . Mama misses you so very much . May the Angels have their wings wrapped around that tiny, little body , just to keep you warm and safe ! I know God is taking good care of you until I come to be with you.

Missing you !

My dear Lucy, Mama just read of Cheena's passing and it so reminded her of you. I haven't come to your page in a while because sometimes it's just too hard to see your sweet face. I miss being able to pick you up and hold you . I miss having you beside me on the couch , seeing you sleep so peacefully. I miss you on my lap in the van when we would go for a ride. I think of you everyday and I know you're in a better place , I just wish you didn't get old. I look at our Sammy's face and it's turning so white, so fast . I'm not ready for another beloved pet to leave . Know that we think of you every day and I think Maizy still grieves for you , as I do ! Be well, Sweet Angel.....you always were such a good little girl!

My Wings

Well, today was the big day ! I finally got my new wings and now look like all the other beautiful Angels. I can fly free and there is no pain. I can see everything now , I can run if I want to and my mind is as sharp as ever. I thank Smudge for the beautiful wings ! Mama had changed the song on my page to one she heard on a dear friends page quite awhile back. It was so beautiful, it made her cry. She misses me very much and I know she's hurting. I know Maizy and Sammy still aren't back to normal. I wish I could fly down and give Mama a kiss and wrap my wings around her, but I know that can't be.I just want you to know Mama, that I really am happy.....until we meet again !
