Mom & dad are proud of me

I've kept my word that I won't run off if mom & dad let me out of the fence to play too. We had a lot of fun today. We got to swim in the pond. I usually don't get in the pond because I am a little scared. But, I love mud puddles. Today I decided to see what the big pond was like. I got muddy... that's my favorite part. We all got baths when we got home. Now, we smell pretty again.

Koda & Fox didn't seem scared at all. I might try to go a little farther next time, but I'm not too sure about that yet.

Yipee

All of us were allowed out of the pen today & we stayed in our own yard! Mom & dad said they were so proud of us. I'm gonna try really hard to stay close so they will let me out with them more often. I didn't like it when I had to stay in the pen.

Ginger & I got our hair cut Monday & I am just too darn sexy. We needed a hair cut before then, but mom & dad couldn't afford it. I have been scratching on my neck & made a sore spot so my mom put some medicine on it. I didn't like it when she touched it but it does feel better now.

I told ya!

Koda got caught. He was stealing food off the counter. I told him he shouldn't do it, but he wouldn't listen to me. I don't get in trouble too much because I know what we are not allowed to do & I always try to follow the rules. Well, most of the time. I do like to run off & meet new people when I get a chance to get outside the fenced yard.

I'm kind of excited about getting my hair cut Monday. We are going to a new groomer. Gizmo's haircut looked pretty good, so I think she will do a good job on mine too.

I will stay in the yard! Give me ONE MORE chance!

I still haven't had a chance to prove that I will stay in the yard. My mom says maybe this weekend she will give me a chance. I'm crossing my paws that she will.

Someone is going to get caught stealing food when mom & dad leave because they are going to set up a camera to catch one of us in action! It's not too hard to figure out. It didn't start until Koda & Fox came. Besides, some of us aren't tall enough to reach the counter to get bread or anything else that is on the counter.

Gizmo got his hair cut yesterday. Ginger & I are going to get ours cut Monday. Gizmo got to ride on the motorcycle to the groomer. I hope we get to ride too. Mom can't hold us, so we have to ride in the big pet taxi that dad hooks on the motorcycle trailer. it's still fun though. We might get to add our pictures with our new hair cuts next week.

I'm jealous

I am just a bit jealous because Koda & Fox get to go out of the fence & I can't. Mom said it's because I will run off. I've been known to do that when I get a chance to get out of the fence. I can't help it. I like to roam around the country & meet new people. They said they hope I learn to stay in the yard by watching Koda & Fox. I'm hoping they will give me a chance soon. I will try real hard to stay close & not run off!

I have 2 more brothers!

Mom & Dad said they were going to meet some other dogs when they left earlier in the day. When they got home & let those dogs out of the car, I was a little worried because they were BIG! Much bigger than us. I sniffed them all over & let them know that I wasn't scared and I was here first. I don't mind sharing the love, but I was a little worried that I would be left out.

I'm feeling a little left out because Koda & Fox are laying on the couch by dad & that is usually where I get to lay. But, that's okay for a little bit. I'm laying by mom & Gizmo right now. I will just let Koda & Fox know that they have to share dad too.

Mom said she didn't realize it had been so long since she let us write in our diaries. I kept telling her but she always said we could do it later. Now, look how long it has been! Back then, we didn't have a dad. So, maybe he will help us write in our diaries more often now that he is around. Hopefully, I will be surfing around dogster more than I have been in the past!!

I'm back

We haven't been able to get on dogster and write anything for a long time! We also haven't been able to "escape" lately. Mom got a door on the front porch and she keeps it shut now. Of course, Gizmo doesn't try to run down the driveway, but I love to run. Ginger does too. For a long time Ginger wouldn't leave mom's sight, but once I showed her where papaw feeds his cats she runs up there too! We like cat food but mom says we can't have it very often because it is for cats only. I have to let Gizmo write a little bit now. Talk to ya soon! Lucy

We are all in need of a haircut again. I was out running in mud puddles & mom don't like it when we do that. But it is so much fun!! Well, gotta go.

Hey, It's Lucy again

Just dropped in to say hey to my dogster pals. Our mom has been trying to get everything caught up since we have the internet at our house again. We have changed a few of the pictures on here but we still have to add some more. We will get to that pretty soon. I have to let the others write in their diaries so I will check back in as soon as I can.

Finally...

I am able to write in my diary again! Lets see... we have had so many new things going on I don't know where to start. I'll start with Mr. Jewels (our cat brother) keeps losing all of his collars that mom puts on him. (she has to add a bell to them too). Do you wanna know WHY she has to add a bell? Because he is kinda like me where he likes to hunt. But, he does something bad when he catches things.. he uses OUR (doggy) door to bring them in the house! Can you beleive it? He has brought 3 flying squirrels, 1 mouse, 2 big moths & a baby bunny rabbit. He doesn't kill them all though. He brings them in, puts them in moms big bathtub & he plays with them. A couple of them got out of the tub & mom had to get them to safety. I'll have to tell you more things later, Ginger wants to write about some stuff too, so I better let her. I'll bark at ya later!
