hiking in the mountains, bombing around the open space by our house, and any lake or stream

"speak!", shake, toot-toot (move over), sit, dock diving, and climbing/jumping 6' fences...
Arrival Story:
We have allergies to dogs in our home, but thought that we would have a lot of love to give and receive from a pup. After researching breeds and fur/shedding, I found a family with a new litter (sorry I can't adopt--needed the purebred to ensure that we could keep her!). Abby was the biggest pup, dubbed "Ms. Yellow" for the bow around her neck, and was also the only girl with a white patch. Within the litter of 13 she was considered pretty mellow but didn't let the other pups push her around. She fell asleep in my arms and I melted on the spot.
Bio:
My son is outnumbered by females in the house. She was originally named "Koho" after the goalie stick; however, that sounds too much like "no" and other commands. We changed her name to "Aebischer" after David Aebischer (former Avalanche goalie) but call her "Abby"
