Sorry pals. I we did not get to send your momma's Happy Mother's Day wishes. Momma was gone all day. She went to her momma's house and did not return to our house until late.

My Birthday!!!

It is my birthday today. Momma went out early to buy me pressies and vanilla ice cream. That is my most favorite thing to eat EVER.

My girlfriend, Coco Rose sent me a big ole cake to go with the ice cream.

It is raining here today so momma said we can't go to the dog park today because it gets all muddy. I told her that wasn't a good reason because Puff's momma lets him get all muddy.

I have really bad allergies

Momma took me to the dogtor because I am scratching my self raw. I also rub my ears on the carpet. Now, I have always had bad allergies since mom got me from the shelter. In fact, that's why my first people gave me away. They couldn't afford all the vet bills. (Mom can't either) So mom knew I had issues when she took me home. Well, they seem to be getting worse. For a long time, I went to the vet every 3 months for shots of cortisone and it helped, but this time, it hasn't helped at all.

Now, I have been on Duck and Potato food for my whole life and the vet said she wants me to try Prescription Z/D diet Ultra. This is what it has in it:

Starch, Hydrolyzed Chicken Liver, Soybean Oil (preserved with BHA, propyl gallate and citric acid), Hydrolyzed Chicken, Powdered Cellulose, Lactic Acid, Dicalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Glyceryl Monostearate, Potassium Chloride, Iodized Salt, Choline Chloride, vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (source of vitamin C), Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin A Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid), DL-Methionine, minerals (Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Copper sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite), Taurine, preserved with Mixed Tocopherols & Citric Acid, Rosemary Extract, Beta-Carotene.

It is VERY expensive. Almost $4.00 a can and $37.00 for 8 pounds of dry.

Well, guess what? I hate it and won't touch it. I'll starve to death first.

Coco Rose and Puff

Hi Pals,

Have any of you heard from Coco and Puff lately? They haven't been in contact and they usually do at least once a week. I'm a little worried cause I am Coco's beloved boyfriend and she hasn't checked to see how I am feeling.

Best news ever!

That vet just called momma and I don't have that terrible disease they thought I did. The test was negative. I am on the road to recovery. I am is eating, barking and begging and playing. The dogter just doesn't know what was wrong with me and it probably remain a mystery. Something viral or just some sort of inflammation. Momma is very happy. I still have to take the prednisone though and taper off of it and hopefully it doesn't come back.
