* YAPPY FATHER'S DAY ! *

HECK ! This Father's Day isn't so GOOD for my Daddy this Year , He's got to go in to WORK ! O ! WELL ! Got'ta make that DOG FOOD MONEY ! Me , Mojo & mommy are going to be outside today doing yard work * We have until 'bout noon to play, then it gets TO-OOOOO HOT to be outside playing * Its been real HOT for the past week * NO RAIN IN SIGHT ! EITHER ! * 98' with a HEAT INDEX of 'bout 110' and HUMID as the RAIN FOREST * Mommy has to water our plants & pull weeds from her Garden * Mojo wants to play in the Monkey Grass, BUT, I want to find a FROG ! YEP ! I LV FROGGIES ! And we have a LOT of them at our house * I LV the 'Lil Green Tree Frogs the BEST ! Mommy lets me sniff them, BUT, She won't let me play with them * GOSH ! I wood LV to take one inside and SNUGGLE up with it in my cubby-bed * I think they are just so-ooo CUTE ! later, Sierra

* MY HERO *

*REMEMBERING OUR VETERANS AND ACTIVE TROOPS ON THIS MEMORIAL DAY AND SALUTING ALL OUR MILITARY'S WITH HONOR AND GREAT RESPECT *

My Pa-Paw is my MILITARY VETERAN HERO * He served full time active Duty in World War ll in the ARMY from start to finish of this War * His PLATOON was stationed on the front lines in Germany under the direct orders of General PATTON * He HELD no Special Title, He was just one of the guy's in his Troop following orders and Fighting for our FREEDOM * Here is His Story that was Published in the Oklahoma City Daily Times in '1945 *

On a day that was not so pretty,Rain and the cold was taking its toll on Him and his Platoon FIGHTING on the front lines of Germany * They were in DIRE need of AMO and FOOD * Orders from General Patton came that morning that a Military Truck was being sent to them LOADED with AMO and FOOD *Waiting for the LIFE SAVING Truck to arrive they had to make sure to reserve the AMO and FOOD they had and because of this many were SHOT and some were KILLED * Most of their FOOD that they had , they all SHARED with STARVING CHILDREN Running and HIDING for cover among the MANY PILES of BODIES in the streets of Germany in front of Hitler's PALACE * These PILES of BODIES were Hitler's trail of INNOCENT JEWS SLAUGHTERED in GAS Housing and some were his OWN German Natives * The WAR was at its PEEK and HITLER'S THROWN was FALLING * As the truck arrived active RETALIATION was in progress and AMO was RUNNING OUT FAST * It was a matter of LIFE & DEATH * One of the German SNIPERS HIT the US Trooper driving the LIFE TRUCK and it ran into a pillar of Hitler's Palace * The driver was DEAD along with his Rider, And as they watched this happen, they took cover as they knew the truck would EXPLODE carrying ALL the AMO * BUT, By the GRACE OF GOD, it DID NOT * The truck was still running, the AMO & FOOD was still savable if they could just get to it * ALL the MEN in the Platoon looked at each other WAITING for ORDERS from General Patton on what to do next, In a split MOMENT, MY PA-PAW BROKE & RAN towards the truck * Every bit of AMO the Platoon had left was FIRING to cover my Pa-Paw as He attempted to SAVE His Platoon,the AMO & the FOOD that was needed to SAVE ALL their LIVES *
He reached the truck, drove it to Safety behind His Troops, without any injury at all and the AMO was used to bring HITLER DOWN * As General Patton arrived after all was cleared and said and done, the WAR WAS OVER * As General Patton led my Pa-Paw's Platoon out, walking down the streets of Germany for the LAST TIME, ALL the Troopers were still SHARING their FOOD RATIONS with the HOMELESS, STARVING, CHILDREN LEFT BEHIND ON THEIR OWN to LIVE and SURVIVE among the PILES of BODIES and RUINS from the trail of WAR left behind in the streets of Germany *

My Pa-Paw has told this Story ONLY a very few times to Family, ONLY * He doesn't like to talk about it much * And He DOES NOT LIKE TO BE CALLED A HERO * My mommy has the News Paper Clipping with His picture & Story and the SMALL Streamers OF RED,WHITE & BLUE RIBBON & a GOLD METAL of BRAVERY framed in a Special place on our wall * With TEARS in His eyes, My Pa-Paw says He's NOT A HERO, He says the MEN in His PLATOON are the HERO'S , They SAVED MY LIFE *

My Pa-Paw is 88 yrs. old and is still LIVING a GOOD HEALTHY LIFE * He still Farms & goes Fishing a lot, that's what He Lv's to do * He has ALWAYS said, ONLY by the GRACE OF GOD and BRAVE MILITARY SOLDIERS AM I ALIVE TODAY * When my GOOD LORD calls me to come Home, I will NOT go because I'm OLD * I will go because my HEART can't take the PAIN and SUFFERING of WARS ANYMORE *

*My mommy's Brother was Drafted for the VIETNAM WAR, but could not Serve because of his eye-sight *

*IN MEMORY OF ALL THE VETERANS FIGHTING FOR OUR FREEDOM & FREEDOM FOR OTHERS, THOSE VETERANS WHO SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES TO SAVE MY PA-PAW & UNCLE'S LIVES *ALL OUR VETERANS THAT HAVE SACRIFICED AND GAVE THEIR LIVES SO ALL OF US MAY HAVE OUR LIFE,OUR LIVES AND OUR FREEDOM TODAY *

* WHERE DID MY BARK GO ? *

GOSH ! I have almost lost my BARK today ! I BARKED my 'lil head off lasterday at cars & trucks passing by my house going down my road * The Fire Dept. had a BBQ Dinner lasterday and every Human in the WORLD must have come to it ! I BARKED till I fell asleep and then mommy said I even BARKED in my sleep ! DANG ! I only have a SQUEAK BARK today, WHERE DID MY BARK GO ? O ! WELL ! I guess I'll find it tomorrow * Today is Bath & Nails Day and after that I'm going to dig me up a nap & watch a movie with Mojo & mommy * I always nap after my Bath, mommy lets me take Oatmeal Bubble Baths and they just Smoothly Slip me into a COMA after I take them * I LV to take my Bath,but, I get a 'lil TENSE with the Nail Job, tho * later, Sierra

* STICKS HERE ! STICKS THERE ! STICKS EVERYWHERE ! *

YAY ! WOO-OOOO ! HOO-OOOO ! Have I got STICKS NOW ! I had BIG BAD Storms at my house last week and it blew me down a LOT of STICKS ! I just LV STICKS ! On EARTH DAY all I did was Pick-Up-Sticks ! I found BIG ones & BIGGER ones and even ones that was to HUGE to pick up ! WOW ! I even found hole TREES and I sure wish I could of carried them back to my house * Me & Mojo ran around looking at all the mess the Storm made * I got things in my yard that don't even belong to me * I found a shirt and a shoe, but mommy took them away from me, she said she hoped no one was in them when the wind blew them away * Mojo found a trash can & a lid , but they don't match each other * Mommy woodn't let him sniff in it either, she said she was glad the wind blew all its trash out before it got to our house, BUT, By the looks of things on our Property, I think the trash in that can followed it to our house, anyway * GOSH ! WHAT A MESS ! We will be cleaning up for weeks * Its suppose to STORM BAD AGAIN this weekend too ! DANG ! I hope the wind doesn't blow MEAN tho * I got real SCARED & mommy says she's not leaving the house for nothing till the SKY is CLEAR * TEXAS weather is real SCARY this time of the year at my house * Got'ta go PICK-UP-STICKS ! later, Sierra

* HAPPY EASTER ! MY EASTER BUNNY AIN'T WET ! *

I sleep wif my BUNNY ! She ain't wet at ALL ! Its WET outside , tho ! Its raining and storming and muddy and messy * I started outside to PEE and just as I got to the door it THUNDERED ! O ! MD ! I DON'T THINK SO ! I ran to my bed and Mojo started digging us up a spot under our blankies * GOSH ! Its EASTER and we can't even hunt Easter Eggs * If we tried to, they wood just sink in the mud or float away * Mommy said she wood fix me and Mojo a 'lil bite of boiled egg after our company goes home * I'm not thinking company is going to be staying long on this EASTER DAY * Daddy says we can't eat to much boiled eggs , 'cause we sleep under the covers in bed with him & mommy * Its still purrdy cold here at night and Me & Mojo like to sleep under the covers all the time, anyway * Daddy's just afraid if we eat to much boiled eggs we'll make STINKY AIR in our sleep and wake him up * WELL ! * WOODN ' T THAT BE NICE *

Its COLD at my house this morn'n ! The wind is blowing, but, its clear and Mr.Sun is shinning * I want to go outside and play again today, but, I don't think the wind is going to let me *Lasterday Me & Mojo got to play outside most of the day * Daddy took pictures of us & we barked at a new Kitty * I don't no where the Kitty came from, but he is a older Kitty and stripped like a tiger * He's not afraid of Me & Mojo, but he ran when we barked at him * He later ran out to our pasture and out of sight * Mommy was gone to Garage Sales and when she got home we told her 'bout him and so she put food out for him to eat * I guess I will watch movies & sniff mommy's cooking * I just LV to watch mommy cook * I get 'lil bites of things 'cause I'm always by her side in the kitchen * Mojo sleeps through all the 'lil treats that mommy gives me * I think Mojo just smells the cooking and dreams of getting 'lil bites * HECK ! If he wood just wake up and go to the kitchen with Me & mommy he wood get a 'lil bite too ! LAZY ! That boy is LAZY ! I guess he wants Me to bring a bite to him * Hummm ! Woodn't that be nice ! NOT ! * WHERE DID THE SNOW GO ? *

GOSH ! That was QUICK ! One minute its Snowing & the next minute its all GONE ! It all went up on top of my house and by noon it was all GONE , but, I did get to sniff at it and Paw it a 'lil while it was here * Its PURDY Today ! The Sun is here & its going to get really warm outside , in the 70's * I'm going to sniff me up a stick and Sun Bathe on my front porch with Mojo * Mommy is going to sweep the porch with the QUITE floor Stick, I don't mind that Floor Stick,'cause its not LOUD * I better go and get my favorite rug to lay on in the Sun before Mojo gets it * later, Sierra

* MY VERY FIRST SNOW *

O ! MD ! ITS SNOWING AT MY HOUSE ! Its the very first time I have ever seen SNOW ! Me & Mojo are just chasing our tails we're so EXCITED its SNOWING ! I thought you only got Snow in the WINTER ! GOSH ! Its SPRING ! I went out to potty and its so funny to see the Snowflakes falling in the wind * I really RAN FAST when one fell on my nose ! I thought I could bite it, but, it just went away when I did * It tasted like ice chips, I LV ICE CHIPS, but, its very thin and turned into water right when it hit my mouth * HECK ! I just wonder how long its going to last * I hope when it gets daylight there will be a lot of it in my yard * I want to RUN in it ! Mommy let me see it for a minute and tried to get Mojo to go outside with me * He just BARKED at us 'cause He wanted to, but, Its really COLD and the WIND is back * I guess the Snow didn't want to come here alone, so it brought the Wind with it *BURRRR ! I think its Winter again ! Got ' ta go snuggle in with Mojo & mommy and get warm, we're going to watch a movie and let it SNOW ! later, Sierra

* SPRING IS NOT AT MY HOUSE TODAY *

O ! MD ! Is it COLD ! * Its CLOUDY & RAINING too * This weekend is going to be even COLDER * I guess I will be watching movies a lot * It has been just like SPRING at my house for the past week, I have been outside, sun bathing and chasing Mojo around our yard, BUT, Today, it feels like WINTER ! AGAIN ! * I will be so HAPPY when this CRAZY TEXAS WEATHER gets in its right place * I got 'ta go with mommy to the Post Office before the rain gets really bad * Its THUNDERING and mommy says we GOT ' TA GO ! NOW ! GOSH ! I finally get to Post in my Diary after missing out in it for several days and this DUMB TEXAS WEATHER decides to go CRAZY ! THAT FIGURES ! Wood 'nt YOU JUST NO IT ! later, Sierra

* WHAT A LOVELY DAY *

WOW ! It has been a GORGEOUS DAY ! NO WIND, CLOUDS or RAIN ! I have been Sun Bathing with my Mojo on our front porch most of the day and I dug up a 'ol wet stick * Mommy, of course, took it away from me, BUT, I did manage to taste it, a 'lil bit * I saw a ROADRUNNER in my backyard and chased it in the brush across the fence * GOSH ! Those birds are FAST ! and the don't fly away like the other birds, BUT, They are FAST on their 'lil skinny feet * Mommy said they have legs like me and maybe that's why I run so FAST all the time * I guess that means I'm Part Roadrunner ? I dun ' no 'bout that , tho * I ain't no DANG ! BIRD ! I'm a 'lil Chi~GRRRL * Anyway, It has been a purdy day and my 'lil legs are really tired * I bet I have ran a DOGZILLION miles today around & around my yard * I BARKED at a BIG WEED in out lot too, I don't think it was there the other day, BUT, I'm not sure * I think it grew up over night * I BARKED at it anyway, just to make sure it knew I was outside and I saw it standing out there * I have to dig up my spot on the couch with Mojo & mommy * We're going to watch a movie and I sure hope by then mommy will be ready to go to bed * I no I'll sleep right through the movie, that is , if Mojo's SNORING doesn't keep me awake * later, Sierra
