2010 update

well its sure been awhile and lots has happened,we just had to put down our other pet tigger a cat who was 14 yrs old due to health issue,it was not a happy time for our family. I asked a question recently about colitis and got some good answers,we are changing her diet again and with a little medication from the vet things seem to be getting better this has gone on for 2 1/2 yrs. ANY OFF CALLIES FRIENDS WHO HAPPEN TO READ THIS I HOPE YOU ARE WELL AND SORRY I HAVE'NT KEPT UP ON POSTING. I QUESS AS MUCH AS I ENJOY THIS SITE. POSTING OR BLOGGING IS REALLY NOT MY THING. THNKS FOR LOOKING CALLIES DAD!

Hi the dad here> Aw it was great I was just home for 4 days and got lots of callie time. I just love my pup and I know she loves me. We had a great time of almost none stop playing and jsut hanging out. OH my callie Oh my callie I remember her name,shes a keeper a real keeper I just wish I had more time with her oh what a shame. 14lbs and really really strong.

Its so hot out 106 that mom says my paws will fry, my owners son was over he's fun,but had to go. Dads on the road still,and I'm bored mom tries her best but I've more energy than all of them put together ,they try to wear me out and some times they do. I certainly have chewing down as I go through a bunch of chew sticks my mom get me, There made out of dried bull parts and there great. Oh and I forgot to mention that at 3 p.m. each day I race around the house for several minutes just so I can show them how fast I am. I ZOOM ZOOM mom says. Oh and the groomer say I get a gold star for good behavior. And mom told dad I was really looking good and my fur was all nice and soft. Oh well enough about me, I am now checking out my friends sites to see whats new.

fri 16th may : Today I am going to see a professional groomer [1st time] I am now healed from my spaying and can now get a bath,dad says about time,he's on the road again but wants mom to take pictures so he can see how neat I look with a bath and trim,because he knows it won't last till he gets home,pitty . He hates going and not playing with me but he has to pay for my beauty shop so off off to work he goes.

I miss my dad and I know he wants to be here but he's out making a living so i can have a happy home. I know he wants to be here because he talks to me on the cell phone and tells me and sometimes barks at me (he speaks really bad dog but oh well). I can't wait till he gets home we get along really well.

Todays a sad day mommy called dad in a panic it seems that all I wanted to do was play with the cat who's an old grouch and he went after me, mommy grabbed the cat and he turned on her and hurt her real bad. Cuts to the arms and along gash in her finger. I try to get along with everybody but he was here first and he does not like me or dad. I feel bad for mommy I didn't mean anything I guess I don't understand. I no now we'll never be friends as all had hoped.

How I came to be where I am now

Hi I'm Callie I'm six months old,and heres how I came to be with my humans. I was told that the search for me all began when my mommy saw a westie like me on a commercial and it was love at first site. Then she had to convince dad,and after he got on board he found a breeder in ARK. called mum's little westies{these are some awesome people} the story here was that they picked out a pup and waited till it was time to pick her up and just a few days before she passed away. We my humans had seen pictures and had named her and it really was a sad time,and there were no other pups ready for months,my humans went looking agian for a puppy,and they found a lady in Barstow,ca. that could get them the pup of there dreams. This is how I came to the U.S.A. via Ireland ya I'm a real Irish lass. When I arrived I spent some time with the kennel lady and them my new dad arrived in his big rig to take me home wow jet planes,cars,big rigs,new country and all this in my first to months on this planet. Well I got to my new home and it was love love love. I have now gotten all my puppy shots been spayed(not fun) got rid of some parasites also not fun and am now happy healthy and just plane full of life,now if I could just get there grouchy old cat to play with me it would be fine. I'm told to leave him alone as me might want me for breakfast so we just stay our distance but you never know I keep trying to make contact and all he speaks is cat but I think the message is clear and thats bug off doggy! Well so much for now will update when something happens,oh yes every time dads home lots of pictures are taken and he will add those soon.
