My Mommie looked at the site I was on every day until deciding to come check me out. She asked the lady to save me because it was a long drive and didn't want someone else to come along and buy me. When my Mommie finally got to me, she fell in love instantly. All my brothers were craving attention from all the prospect buyers walking around; except for one, later to be named Tristan, who was all curled up by himself in the litter box. When Mommie saw that her heart just melt and decided she wasn't leaving without the both of us.

Bio:
I am a mix between Miniature Pincher, Dachshund, and Yorkshire Terrier. I came from a litter of 5 and was the only girl.

Up until now we have been using a litter box. Some days are better than others. I will potty near the litter box but not in it. Unless I don't have a choice in the matter. Our human parents however think it might be a good idea to get down to one litter box instead of two, and also want to try training us to go outside. Our apartment gets pretty stinky at times! This morning Mom got up early to take us outside to do our business, however, Tristan & I just wanted to play. We had absolutely no interest in "going" outdoors of course, and when we came back inside we relieved ourselves where we normally do. (Him in the box and I next to it.) Mommy and Daddy are ready for this transition - Tristan probably is too, but me ... I'm not so sure! They all expect it to be awhile before we get it down to a science, but just writing to see if anyone out there had some suggestions so we can avoid confusion and re-learn where we are supposed to go to the bathroom.
