All that is necessary for the triumph of Evil is for good men to do nothing
Country is sittin' on the back porch listen to the whippoorwills late in the day
Country is mindin' your business helpin' a stranger if he comes your way
Country is livin' in the city knowin' your people knowin' your kind
Country is what you make it country is all in your mind
[ guitar ]
Country is workin' for a living thinkin' your own thoughts lovin' your town
Country is teachin' your children find out what's right and stand your ground
Country is a havin' the good times listen to the music singing your part
Country is walkin' in the moonlight country is all in your heart
Well mom decided now was a good time to let everyone know that the treatments are working ....Yay for me....
The Oncologists...(yes I have 2) were a little concerned because a couple of nodes were still a little swollen, but when i went today they said those had shrunk a lot since the last visit.....Yay again
They were actually a little surprised by that, because I am at the point in my treatments where normally things begin to slow down and usually the nodes won't shrink anymore....
I have been really lucky with my treatments...Although I occasionally get the runs the treatments have not cause me too many problems
So mom says to thank everyone for all the popping and the gifts on my page :)
Ok so some of you may know that I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma.
Mom says that although she worries every day, I am quite the lucky pup
First I am lucky that the Cancer was found so soon. Mom and Dad found a lump on my leg and took me as soon as they could to the vet to have it checked.
Second Mom says I am lucky cause the Vets we are going to rushed all the tests and got me on treatment as fast as they could.
Third Mom says I am lucky cause they can afford the chemo treatments that should give me at least another year of life.
Of course there is bad parts...
The treatments will last almost weekly for 6 month.
The treatments may cause me to not feel good and I could have side effects like thinning fur...nausea and the runs, though so far I have not had any issues
And of course most likely I will not have more then a year in remission, but mom says I am at least 13 now so If I get another good year to live then she will make the best of them
