I took my first trip to the beach last week and it was the most fun!
I didn't much care for the foamy moving water though. It scared me everytime it started chasing me so I just ran away. I did like feeling the sand on my feet so much that I ran and ran in circles making big doughnuts all around Mom every time she tried to walk me.
Staying in the hotel was kinda fun too cuz there were these three chi's next door to us and we liked to talk back and forth through the door. I made lots of new friends and can't wait till my next trip!
Oh, one thing I did not like was the little prickly things that kept getting stuck in my feet when I went out to go potty. The first one I got I thought I was dying so I just fell over on the grass and whined and refused to move until Mom found it and pulled it out. Mom called them sandspurs but I call them evil!
Mom and Dad got me and my fursis the biggest bathtub I've ever seen! Dad put it in the backyard for me and filled it with water and I got to play in it.
I was afraid of it at first but Dad kept throwing my ball in there and when I cried for him to get it for me he just kept saying "If you want it you have to go get it". Eventually I did get into the big bathtub and the water felt so nice and cool that I LOVED IT!! I even put my whole face under water when my ball sank to rescue it.
Now when I'm playing fetch in the backyard with Mom and Dad and I get too hot I just take a little detour through my backyard bathtub and keep on running!
Oh, can someone help me explain to my fursis Rose that it's not a gigantic water bowl.....please???
