Arrival Story:
When I was very small, our family dog had to be given away when my parents got divorced. A few years later, after lots and lots of begging from me, my father decided to let me have a puppy. Chihuahuas were very popular in my family; so it was decided that we would adopt a baby Chihuahua. My dad and I spent all day one Saturday looking through the paper. We found a breeder who had one puppy left. When I first saw Webster, I lost my heart. He was so tiny, just eight weeks. I felt very protective of him, and for a long time, treated him like he was my 'baby.' He slept in my bed, rode in a basket on the back of my bike, and spent most every minute with me.
Bio:
Webster lived to be about fifteen years old (I think). I last saw him was when he was nine. My home was filled with violence, and when I was twenty, I became homeless. I couldn't save my pets. I still have nightmares about leaving them behind and what they suffered. In Webbie's memory, and for all of the pets that were lost to violence, I've created this page. I will always love him.
