Arrival Story: Hi, I'm Nana (originally Cafecita)
I was a Quito street dog until an very nice lady saved me. Living in the Third world is tough - for humans let alone dogs.
Well the lady took me to a vet who cleaned me up and brought me back to reasonable health. then she discovered that her landlord is no dog fan. Of course my chomping her didn't he;p much.
So the lady had to find another home for me or abandon me back to the street or a pound where they would kill me.
She was a member of a social organization in Quito and she posted an ad with them offering me to a good home.
"Good" is not enough to describe what I got. I got dad.
He looks a lot like everything you never want your daughter to meet. Old, long hair, full beard, hasn't shaved in almost a year. - no haircut either.
Perhaps his only saving grace is that he loves dogs as few other people.
He took me in and feeds me regularly and I now sleep on his bed almost every night. He almost never leaves the food store without treats for me and my brothers.
